The heart of the earth is changing. At least, that’s what was proposed in a new study published in Nature Magazine on January 23, 2023.

While analyzing the patterns of seismic waves, scientists were shocked to see that the innermost core of the earth appears to have recently stopped moving.

It’s come to a near-halt.

This, they now think, happens every so often - perhaps every seventy years - but the reality is, they don’t know much about the stone at the center of the earth. They lack the tools to access it directly, but from what they can tell, it’s 1,520 miles long, made of mostly iron and nickel, and hot, so hot, as hot as the surface of the sun. (Learn more here.)

Approximately 3,200 miles beneath your feet, there’s a strange, hot stone that spins and spins. Its rotation is believed to be the consequence of a tug-of-war between the electromagnetic and gravitational fields. This battle of primary forces causes a rippling of energy that affects all the layers of the earth from the stone at the center to the surface where your feet touch the ground and out even farther (I imagine) to the edge of the atmosphere, to the place where every eight minutes, a magnetic portal opens, connecting the sun and the earth.

The heart of the earth is changing.

And I keep calling it a stone - the stone at the center of the earth. I’m calling it that because as I type, that is what I hear, and when I try to correct my diction, a voice inside yells STOP, but still, I know that technically, by definition, a stone is a nonmetallic thing. It’s the exact opposite of the solid core at the center of the earth, which is basically a spinning metal ball, but let us leave technicalities aside for a moment. Let us instead endeavor to understand: the stone at the center of the earth, the stone at the center of all things, the stone resting now like that at the base of a hearth, preparing to hold a flame.

The morning of January 23, 2023, I paused the television and saw repeating numbers in the progress bar - 35, 35 - but I didn’t feel like looking them up. If it’s important, I thought, it’ll show up again.

A few hours later, a friend texted: Okay I got this little treadmill for my standing desk and I just stopped it to fill up my water and I was at 1.0 miles, 3500 steps and 35:35 time.

She included a little video of the numbers, staring at me now in red: 35:35.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the world, an announcement was made: The earth’s inner core has come to a near halt.

The halting, scientists shared, most likely started sometime between 2009 and 2011. It’s like the stone’s been on pause ever since, but, they think, it’s about to pick up speed again, and this time, it will start spinning in a whole new direction. Any day now, the stone could start moving more and more quickly, rotating westward with greater speed until eventually, it will be rotating even faster than the surface of the earth.

In the palm of my hand, on a liquid crystal display, I see the number 35 - this time in triplicate, marked in red. I take the cosmic prodding to heart and look up asteroid 35. That’s when I learn that there’s a tiny stone - just sixty-four miles wide - rotating out in space between the orbits of Jupiter and Mars, and I see that in early February - on February 2nd to be precise - that very stone is aligning at the exact same place in the sky as the planet Venus.

Venus, I remember, has long been known as “the light bringer,” and asteroid 35, I learn, is named after the goddess Leukothea, the same goddess whom Milton called upon in book eleven, line 133 of Paradise Lost: Meanwhile,” he wrote, “to re-salute the world with sacred light, Leucothea waked.”

And on this Leo full moon, if you were to look up at the sky, you just may see Venus shining and Leukothea nearby, and if you had the right telescope, you might even see another stone: the asteroid Fides, named after the goddess of good faith and honesty.

All these sentiments are swirling together now: the waking of sacred light, the bringing of light, and the promise to live amongst it all faithfully and honestly.

Asteroids 35, 37, & the planet Venus on February 5, 2023.

Mean while
To resalute the World with sacred Light
Leucothea wak'd…and found,
Strength added from above, new hope to spring

easily may Faith admit, that all
The good which we enjoy, from Heav'n descends;
But that from us ought should ascend to Heav'n.

John Milton’s Paradise Lost

On September 10, 2022, I dreamt that a rock fell to Earth, but it wasn’t from space. Not like a meteorite. No, this rock descended from heaven and landed here, and in my dream, it fell like a seed into a lake, and I fished it out, and ever since, in my waking hours, I’ve heard whispers of something called the Stone of Heaven, and I’ve heard on repeat: keep it safe, keep it secure.

Keep it safe, keep it secure.

For months, this has made little to no sense at all, but still, it’s felt important, and it’s felt true, and it’s seemed like a commandment that I must keep: keep it safe, keep it secure. So I haven’t spoken of the stone, and I haven’t told you about it until now, and truthfully, most of the time, I haven’t even really thought about it. But over the last two weeks, the stone has come sharply into focus, and when I read Milton’s words now, I think of the stone descending from Heaven, falling to Earth in September, and I think I felt a bit like Leukothea then, waking to find strength added from above.

And during this Leo full moon time - from now through February 19th - I sense that this is what is offered to all of us. The time is ripe for waking to newfound strength, and this may not make sense right away. What this strength is and what it gives you may take time to understand, but if you can just allow it, allow it to unfold and have faith, then you will soon find yourself waking, feeling renewed.

Over the next two weeks, you will likely experience a major EPIPHANY - a eureka moment that helps heal the perception of a divide between yourself and everything else, especially your understanding of whatever it is that’s divine in this world.

This full moon time brings a restoration of unity that flows through our human relationships but that starts in each and every one of us as individuals, as we allow the sacred light to flow through us with ease.

This is a celebration of wholeness and oneness!

The full moon is conjunct the asteroid Jubilatrix, which is all about joy and celebration, especially the celebration of something that’s accomplished because you stuck with it, you persevered, you endured. You trusted.

If you reflect back on the end of July and early August (approximately July 28th through August 10th), you may remember a way in which your endurance was tested then. Perhaps you felt that some great abundance was coming your way, but you didn’t quite see it, and in fact, you seemed to encounter some sort of obstacle instead.

ABUNDANCE was the big message that arrived for all of us with the Leo new moon at the end of July. That story was all about an incredible outpouring of heavenly abundance, but at the same time, it spoke to the fact that here on Earth, there seems to be a great divide between the experience of abundance and the experience of hardship.

The collective body of humanity struggles to receive abundance, and when I say “abundance,” I am not speaking of a strictly material abundance. Abundance isn’t about living some lux, glamorous life. It’s a much richer quality that goes far beyond material desires and needs. But I digress - my point is that this full moon time, happening now, is helping to bridge the divide that makes it hard for us to receive abundance in our earthly lives.

In addition to reflecting back on the end of July and early August, I also encourage you to reflect back on the end of October 2021.

We are currently experiencing an infusion of heavenly light on Earth, and it’s inspiring another layer of spiritual awakening that’s an expansion of what was experienced globally in 2020.

What you experience with this full moon is an inflection point within this larger cycle taking us from October 2021 to June 2023.

Specifically, taking us to June 23, 2023.

At first, I wasn’t going to share the details of how I saw this cycle, but actually, the story is pretty magical, so here you go:

On January 24th, I was sent a NY Times article detailing the new science around the core of the earth. As I read the article, I was struck by an advertisement midway through the text. The ad featured an illustration of a woman standing next to a doctor looking at this HUGE blown up image of her breast tissue. This immediately got my attention because over a year ago, I had a dream where I was standing with a doctor, looking at these huge, blown up images of my breast tissue. The ad’s image was so shockingly similar that it made me go look up this dream in my journal.

Turns out, I had the dream on October 30, 2021, and when I looked at the astrology, I was shocked to see a number of overlaps between then and now - including the fact that the sun was conjunct the asteroid Archimedes, which it also is on this full moon.

You might remember that I wrote about Archimedes back in June, and as a result of that story, I now associate the Archimedes asteroid with golden crowns and eureka moments, and it just so happens that on this full moon, both the asteroids Archimedes and Eureka are forming prominent conjunctions, which is in part why I said earlier that it’s very likely that you’ll experience an epiphany now, something like a crowning of new knowledge, a crowning of your Self. You may even want to look and see where seventeen degrees of Aquarius falls in your chart because that’s probably the area where you’ll experience this so-called crowning.

It’s kind of like this full moon time is bringing a coronation of sorts for all of us, but what that means and how it shows up is different for each of us.

Ultimately, this collective crowning is very much an expression of Leukothea and the great return of sacred light to which we are waking.

On October 27, 2021, Leukothea was conjunct the south karmic node of the moon, and then yesterday, I was guided to look up the very specific date of June 23, 2023. When I did, I was shocked to see that on that exact day, Leukothea will be perfectly conjunct the karmic north node of the moon, aka the destiny pont. In other words, from October 2021 to June 2023, we are experiencing a karmic cycle that essentially amounts to a collective cleansing of sacred light in our lives.

Why do I use the word “cleansing,” well…there’s another story behind that, but rather than share it, I’ll simply ask you to trust. Trust in this message and take a moment to explore it for yourself. Close your eyes and roll the words around in your mind: The Cleansing of Sacred Light. As you do, notice what comes up not just in your mind but in your heart, your soul, your body.

How does it make you feel? Where do you feel it?

You might find yourself resisting the words and wanting to reject them completely.

Or perhaps they feel like a warm embrace.

There is no right or wrong here. There is only your personal experience as you encounter a collection of syllables, a lifetime of learning, and the flickering of wisdom buried deep inside your being.

And for any lingering doubt that may persist, I offer you this, which just happened, just now - on the morning of February 2nd:

I was sitting in bed, eating breakfast on a biscuit, and watching Fixer Upper: The Castle, when my husband walked into the room. I paused the TV, and right away, I noticed the numbers on the progress bar: 22:10 and 2:21.

221!

I immediately entered asteroid 221 into my planetary mapping software and burst out laughing when I saw that on February 5th, asteroid 221 will be aligned at the exact same spot in the sky as the Leo full moon. In other words, the energy of this full moon is blended with that of asteroid 221.

What is asteroid 221?

Well, asteroid 221 is named Eos, after the Greek goddess of the dawn who was said to rise each morning from her home at the edge of a river. She woke - every day - to deliver light and disperse the darkness, which every night, spread across the world.

On this full moon, may we all be like Eos. May we embrace the resurgence of sacred light. A light I see not just in Venus and Leukothea and Eos but in the alignment of the asteroids Angel and Hestia with the destiny point. Now is when our collective destiny is being aligned with a heavenly, angelic, divine, whatever you want to call it…flame. A flame that burns inside each and every one of us.

If you reflect back on February 2nd, what do you remember? What did you experience? Perhaps it felt like a spark, an ignition, or perhaps, it felt more akin to the laying down of a stone - your way of rising to meet the descent of great sacred light that is coming your way any day now, perhaps on February 11th.

When it comes, in whatever way you can, in whatever way feels right, keep it safe, keep it secure, keep it burning.

To be continued…

A Little Something Extra

While writing this chapter, I stopped in the middle to go to yoga. As I was getting in the car, this whole lesson on magic and how manifestation works started moving through me, so I hit record on a voice memo and just spoke out loud while driving. What follows is what I recorded, which just happened to be exactly six minutes and 23 seconds long…6/23. It’s raw. It’s imperfect. It’s full of traffic sounds and superfluous “likes” - but it’s here for you. May it inspire more light, more love, and all the good stuff. ❤️ Virginia

Long Story Short:

This full moon is bringing the RETURN OF SACRED LIGHT. To your being, to your life, to your relationships, to the world. This is a great healing light, helping to bridge the divide between self and other, between heaven and earth. The earth is changing! All things are always changing, but this is especially true right now: the earth is changing, and you help change it by being who you are in this world and bringing what only you can bring. What are you bringing next? What will you offer when you open yourself even more to the sacred light descending to Earth at this time? No rush to answer that question. All you have to do right now is open yourself to receive the light. Let it take its time to settle into your body and guide you to what’s next. It’s coming! In June.
