Brighter made then is the sonne” from The Ripley Wheel, 1652 ☆ It started not quite in the middle of September. The revelation that she moved like the sun, like clockwork. Her cycles and rhythms perfectly in sync, always the same, year after year. One step at a time. It looked like she was changing, but she was always the same. ☆ I trace my fingers across the words, the words placed around the wheel, the wheel with no clear starting or stopping point, but simply a circle that keeps going and going and going. I trace my fingers across the words: “Brighter made then is the sonne.” Brighter than the sun. In my mind, I hear the song I was listening to - on repeat - in June: “This is how it starts, lightning strikes the heart
It goes off like a gun, brighter than the sun” ☆ In astrology, the sun moves around the zodiac wheel - counter clockwise, always counter clockwise - one degree a day. Meaning that every year on the same day, the sun is at the same point on the wheel. On your birthday, for example, the sun is always where it was when you were born. Me, for example, the 26th degree of Scorpio, the sun arriving there every year between the 17th and 19th of November (sometimes it falls a little before or after my marked date of birth: November 18th. And it does this for you too, around your celebrated date of birth.) I’ve never witnessed another planetary body move like this, like the sun - with its constancy, day after day. Unchanging. And thank God for the sun. Its consistency. Its mastery. It’s central navigating force. Maybe you’ve seen - in reading this - how every year, Mercury enters its retrograde cycles on different dates and how it moves between the various signs on different dates - year after year - always changing. Like quicksilver. For example: Mercury today (October 1, 2020) is here: the 4th degree of Scorpio. But Mercury on this day last year (October 1, 2019) was here: the 27th degree of Libra. And Mercury on this day in 2018 (October 1, 2018) was here: the 16th degree of Libra. You see: it’s always changing, always shifting, moving as it moves around the wheel. This is true for all the planets I have ever studied. Save for the sun. Save, until now. ☆ She, she moves like the sun. I realized, on September 12th. Sheets of printed pages were sprawled across my white duvet. Every sheet nearly identical: the same wheel of identical black glyphs and blue, red, green, and black lines. Every sheet identical save for the date - in green - in the upper left hand corner, save for the glyphs - in green - positioned around the outside of the wheel. Green for what’s happening now, green for what’s new. But in 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020...every year, she is in the same position, going retrograde and direct at the exact same degree in the exact same sign as the year before...a five year cycle...consistent, constant, centered in herself. She is Psyche. Asteroid number 16. The asteroid I wrote all about in last month’s guide because of the important role she plays during this Harvest Season. The asteroid that’s named after the mortal woman who traveled to the underworld only to rise as an immortal goddess and transcend her mortal existence, shedding her mortal confinements. “Here to purgatory must they goe

in gold and other precious minerals that NASA has considered mining it. She could give every person on Earth $93 billion. Her riches - if distributed evenly - could become an equalizing force that would potentially demolish the worth of gold, the notion of money, and our entire economic structure. Please know that I’m not suggesting that we drill into this or any asteroid. Let her live, but know that she’s out there, offering the possibility of this GOLDEN AGE of harmony, equality, abundance. Offering this perspective of ABUNDANCE FOR ALL. And know that this year, and on the harvest full moon, October 1st, she conjuncts the north node of the moon. The destiny point. The Harvest moon, the moon of abundance, brings us Harvest Season - that time of year, every year, when we collect our harvest - our reward to sustain us through the winter, like the crops that kept us fed before the age of freon and transcontinental transport. More to come on Psyche, this harvest, our abundance - your great reward - but first: ☆ On September 29th, Saturn went direct in Capricorn, the sign it’s been traversing since December 19, 2017. Saturn often has a bad reputation within astrology. It’s commonly thought to bring discomfort and trials - a sense of feeling restricted while it teaches us whatever we need to know. But in actuality, Saturn is dual natured. Light and dark. Black and gold. A god. In Roman mythology, Saturn - like Ceres - was an agricultural deity. Taken from the Greek god Cronus, Saturn was the god of time, the seasons, agriculture, and yes, the harvest. He had two wives, representing his two aspects. One was a goddess of wealth and abundance, and the other, a goddess of war and destruction. And both the ancient Greeks and Romans believed that once upon a time, Cronus/Saturn was in charge, and when he ruled, there was a Golden Age on Earth. During this time, people enjoyed equality and the “spontaneous bounty of the earth without labor in a state of innocence.” The ancient Romans celebrated Saturn’s Golden Age every year with the festival of Saturnalia. A festival that was only brought to my attention because it just happened to be celebrated on the pages of a book I was reading last week. The festival and its corresponding dates leapt off the page at me, hovering as if they existed on another plane, above the other words, begging me to pick them up, open them up, see what was inside. “on the seventeenth of December”
“It is Saturnalia...the celebration dedicated to the god of the harvest.” In ancient times, the festival of Saturnalia was celebrated every year on December 17th...December 17th...what will happen on December 17th? The answer is coming, but for now, it’s enough to hold the question in your mind, just for this moment. And it’s enough to know that on this year’s harvest moon, Saturn - god of the harvest and king of the Golden Age - will have just gone direct - and Psyche - the golden planet that moves like the sun - will be aligned with the karmic destiny point. All things adding up, as you will see, to make gold. ☆ The Harvest begins with the Aries full moon at 5:05 PM EST on October 1, 2020. The harvest is here for you, for me, for America, for all of us. This is a lot, this harvest, all the light rushing in to expand brighter and brighter for the next six months to sixty-six years, so take this information in slowly...read it piece by piece, return to it as needed, remember that you don’t have to fully comprehend it with your mind to feel it in your body, to know it in your soul, in that golden chamber that resides within. ☆ What happens in 66 years? Why did I just channel that? I look it up: October 1, 2086. The north node of destiny is conjunct the asteroids Klio, Juno, and DNA, exactly on SATURN in Sagittarius in my chart. (Currently, in 2020, the south node of destiny is in Sagittarius, the north node in Gemini, but this will be reversed with the north node in Sagittarius and the south node in Gemini in 2086). And on that day in 66 years, Helenus and Chiron (that fateful pairing that represents the ultimate wounding and healing of America) will be perfectly conjunct where Psyche and the north node are conjunct today, in 2020, on this year’s harvest moon. In summary, these dates are connected. What transpires now continues to bloom and heal over at least the next 66 years. As I see this and hear this, I think: Please say this doesn’t mean we have to wait 66 years. I don’t receive an answer. Yet. ☆ Now, on October 1st, the harvest moon conjuncts Chiron - the healer - at nine degrees Aries (check this point in your chart). This is a deeply healing moon, healing ARIES energy specifically. And Aries energy is EGO energy, our sense of self, our identity, our individuation. This full moon connects to the Aries new moon from March 24, 2020. That new moon fell very close to where this full moon is (just 5 degrees apart), and the full moon is very much a blossoming of what started then. Then, in March - think back to the end of March...when America and so much of the world - and especially those of us in New York City - were retreating from our routines and structures (Capricorn energy) and moving towards solitude in our homes (Cancer energy) - the Aries new moon followed the Virgo full moon that was conjunct the asteroid Klio (the muse of history). In the March Guide, I wrote how that was going to be a BIG historic moon, that something big was going to happen around March 14th, and sure enough, that is when I entered quarantine. Well, Klio (that great marker of history and fame) is playing a big role again with this month’s moons (especially the Halloween blue moon that is leading into America’s presidential election)...so know that as we enter October, we are entering another huge historic moment. And it starts now. With the harvest moon. ☆ On the Aries new moon in March, as we retreated into our SELVES and into our homes, we planted the seeds for a massive healing of WHO WE ARE. On that new moon, the sun and moon were both conjunct Chiron (the healer) as well as Hektor (the spiritual warrior), Lilith (the wild woman), and...Psyche (the golden, transcendent butterfly)! That new moon was working with SO MUCH ENERGY. Blending the energy of all of those planetary bodies and focusing them towards the same degree of Aries...the almost identical spot that this harvest full moon is illuminating...again with Chiron, the healer. Hektor, Lilith, and Psyche have all been coming up this year with many major moons. We’ve been working through this energy, growing to understand it, growing to understand the part of ourselves that is whole, wild, connected to all that is, and FIERCE. I’m going to be mentioning a lot of asteroids this month. It’s a lot for my brain to handle, and I imagine it’s a lot for yours, so please don’t worry so much about what each one represents. I don’t expect you to be an astrologer, but know that I have to mention all of these because they are all playing a role. Because basically what’s happening is this: a massive choreographed dance in the cosmos where the planets are coming together and moving apart and spinning and dancing and laughing and throwing their heads back and holding each other up and working together in harmony and in balance to create this incredible web of energy that holds ALL OF US, especially right now. The dance that is happening right now is supported by SO MUCH MOVEMENT and SO MANY BODIES. So for this harvest moon, so far, we have: The moon, the sun, and Chiron as STAR DANCERS. Healing your heart, healing your ego, healing the world. And then we have PSYCHE and the NORTH NODE OF DESTINY, dancing, helping us rise above our splintered identities and arrive at knowing our own wholeness. As individuals and as a community. That great body. ☆ I woke the morning of September 12th, my eyes landing on strips of duct tape, strategically placed along the edges of the bedroom window, wrapped around the window’s lock - the lock that kept being unlocked by the wind. The wind was rushing past our windows, over the balcony cushions - flailing, threatening to fly over the edge and fall to the ground, 100 feet below, just like that one cushion did that one time one month ago. The wind was pushing and howling and popping the lock open, pressing the window open - just slightly - just enough to hear the wind whistling, to hear its high pitched squeal of delight, force, presence. I ran into the bedroom from the living room, pulled the window closed, held down the lock, for if I let it go for just a minute, the wind would simply unlock it again. Get the tape! I yelled to my husband, at some point at the end of April or early May, in the energy of the Taurus new moon. Where is it? He asked. Fine! I’ll get it myself. I opened the upper right desk drawer and pulled out the roll of duct tape I’d bought before winter came in 2017, before I got married, back when I was still living alone, across the bridge. I’d bought the tape from the local hardware store just around the corner. I picked it because it was white and had a pretty pattern on it - blue and red - and if I was going to tape a trash bag around the air conditioning unit in my window - to keep out the wind - I was going to make it as pretty as possible. Perfect, I thought, as I taped the white trash bag around the air conditioner, sealed the air out with strips of patterned duct tape. The blue even matched the velvet pillows on my couch. “What do you want? I asked the breeze crossly.

from Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness Rose tells me, seemingly out of nowhere, The wind loves you too. I thought of this, this message of hers, while sealing the window shut that day in late April, early May. Four weeks later, on May 28, when Mercury - the messenger of the gods - aligned with the north karmic node of the moon - the destiny point - I closed my eyes to see if there was any message for me to receive, and I heard the song, “She’s like the wind.” The one Patrick Swayze sang. The one - I later learned - he recorded the very month I was born (November, 1986) to be included on the soundtrack for Dirty Dancing, a movie that - I later learned - was filmed by my ancestor’s former land in the mountains of Virginia. And on that day, on May 28th, I heard all the spiritual support whisper in my ear: “You’re like the wind.” The wind loves you too. What do you want?! Your trust. ☆ You’ve been building to this. This deep self healing. This moment when you simply trust yourself and trust the wind and peel off all the tape you’ve been using to cover the cracks in your being. You’ve been peeling it off, one strip at a time, until eventually, there’s no tape left, there’s only you - radiating. ALL OF YOUR LIGHT SHINING THROUGH THE CRACKS. “There’s a crack in everything – that’s where the light comes in” - Leonard Cohen sings, inspired by Rumi’s poetry:“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” I often use that quote when describing Chiron, for Chiron isn’t just the healer. Chiron is the wounded healer. The wound is the place where the light enters you, AND it’s also the place where your light gets out! The wound frees you. It strips you of your armor and leaves you exposed, transparent, so that all that can be seen in those places where you’ve been cut open is ALL YOUR LIGHT. You remove the tape until you’re transcendent, illuminated, golden, as constant as the sun. ☆ On the Aries new moon, the destiny point was in the same spot as the asteroid GOLD. On this Aries harvest full moon, Venus (the planet that rules love and money and all energy exchanges everywhere) is in the same spot as the asteroid GOLD. This Aries moon cycle is GOLDEN. This Harvest Season is GOLDEN. Everything for months has been coming up GOLDEN. ☆ I woke the morning of September 12th and looked at the tape on the window, noticed for the first time the shape of the blue lines and the pattern they formed. It looks like the path of Venus. When Venus’ movement is tracked from Earth, the path it takes looks like this, a flowering, radiating, rounded pentagram. While reading about the path of Venus - formed by a series of inferior conjunctions, shifting 144 degrees upon sequential conjunctions - I started reading about conjunctions. Not just the ones I track regularly - month after month - in this guide with you (every time I say something is “conjunct”), but the ones prominent enough to be mentioned in Wikipedia. The ones that have gotten everyone excited - non-astrologers included. I saw a list of famous conjunctions, and on that list, the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter from June 30, 2015 immediately jumped out at me. Jumped out at me because that was precisely when I unwittingly performed some very big magic, for the first time, off of pure instinct. I was packing up my apartment, about to leave New York City with a couple thousand dollars, an interest free credit card, and no plan for what was next except I had a deep knowing inside, it pressed on me - like the wind, unlocking the window - and it begged me to go, to trust the messages and to know that I would be okay. Just go. I opened a box that I’d had in storage for a year. At the top of the box was a pinecone. I lifted it up, and I texted my oldest childhood friend: I want to burn it. What happened next is a much longer story. In fact, I already wrote a whole book about it, and that’s how it starts. The first chapter, I want to burn it. I hear a whisper, whispering now: “Nigredo: the blackening” And on the day I decided to burn it, Venus and Jupiter were apparently conjunct, their mutual radiance blending together in the night sky, giving the appearance of ONE VERY BRIGHT STAR. They - the people back then, looking at the night sky in 2015 - nicknamed this conjunction the Star of Bethlehem. But what does 2015 have to do with now? I looked: On this Harvest Moon, Venus and Gold will be conjunct at almost the exact same spot in Leo (28 degrees) where Venus and Jupiter were conjunct on that fateful day in 2015. AND, not only were Venus and Jupiter conjunct (at the exact same spot) in 2015, but GOLD was right there with them, just two degrees away. So Gold will be in the same spot on this harvest moon as it was at the end of June/early July 2015. But that’s not all. The last time Psyche was in Gemini was 5 years ago. Remember, this is the day (September 12th) I realized that Psyche moves like the sun. This is how she moves: 2020-2021 July 18, 2020: Psyche entered Gemini (0 degrees Gemini) August 15, 2020: Psyche entered her retrograde shadow (10 degrees Gemini) October 22, 2020: Psyche goes retrograde (23 degrees Gemini) January 23, 2021: Psyche goes direct (10 degrees Gemini) April 4, 2021: Psyche leaves retrograde shadow (this date, by the way, connects to the Libra new moon on 10/16 this month, the new moon that’s energy will be rippling through when Psyche goes retrograde on 10/22) flashback five years 2015 - 2016 July 18, 2015: Psyche entered Gemini (0 degrees Gemini) August 15, 2015: Psyche entered her retrograde shadow (10 degrees Gemini) October 23, 2015: Psyche goes retrograde (23 degrees Gemini) January 25, 2016: Psyche goes direct (10 degrees Gemini) April 5, 2016: Psyche leaves retrograde shadow (23 degrees Gemini) Notice how she enters the sign (Gemini) at the exact same date and how she then experiences a retrograde cycle aligned with the same dates and the same degrees both in 2020 and 2015. And it was the same in 2010 and 2005…Psyche is golden, dependable. Like the sun. What was happening in your life around those dates in 2015-2016? It was paving the way for what’s happening now. Because now, not only is Psyche moving through Gemini just like she did in 2015, but her energy is being amplified, directed, focused by the north node of the moon. Destiny. It’s being amplified by FATE. Five days after the harvest moon - on October 6th - Psyche and the north node perfectly conjunct in Gemini (meaning that they will be in the exact same spot, no space at all between them along the zodiac wheel). Because of Psyche’s retrograde, this will happen two more times. On November 20, 2020, and again on March 6, 2021. The Virgo new moon set the stage for this massive conjunction between Psyche and the north node, which is happening THREE TIMES. And maybe you, like me, intuit the power behind the number three. The magic of it. Like the way a triangle is formed by three lines, creating the strongest shape known to man. The first conjunction starts with the harvest moon, reaching its peak on the 6th. THIS IS WHEN YOU REALLY RISE SHINING. This is the start of the big shine that “began” with the Virgo new moon...the new moon that planted the seeds for the Virgo full moon that is coming at the end of February...setting the stage for the final Psyche/north node conjunction on March 6th. When I think of these conjunctions, I see a short staircase leading to a platform, a stage, and it’s like with each conjunction, you take another step higher. Step by step, you rise. Rise to become the person you always have been. Rise in alignment with your SOUL, that part of you that is golden, immortal, constant, never changing. Rise to shine, brighter than the sun. ☆ In astrology - and maybe also in life, on Instagram, wherever people are chatting about the sun and moon - we are taught that the moon is feminine, the energy of our mother’s line. That being like the moon - receptive of the sun’s energy, reflecting other people’s light - is FEMININE. And we are taught the sun is masculine, the energy of our father’s line, constantly shining bright - a force to reckon with all on its own that shines down upon all things, giving energy to life, and light to the moon. But SHE moves like the SUN. SHE SHINES. ☆ At the end of May, I was standing in the kitchen when I looked down and suddenly saw two small pieces of yarn-like threads, knotted together at one end. One thread was red, the other white. I had no idea where these bound threads came from. They felt magically placed there, like they fell through the ether, onto the kitchen floor. This felt especially powerful since the Libra full moon ritual on April 7th involved tying two strings together, and here I was, being handed two strings - bound, just like the ones from that ritual. I kept them by my side for a bit before placing them on my altar. These are for my partnership with Spirit, I thought. Since holding those strings and placing them on my altar, I have been inundated with messages about alchemy and the philosopher’s stone (the key to immortality, enlightenment, and turning mercury into gold in alchemical science), and I have only recently (this last month) been guided to learn of the significance of red and white within alchemy. Red being the sun. White the moon. But before learning of this, I found the threads, and I intuitively chose a red and white candle for my Leo new moon ritual, and I had a vision of being handed a white rose, and a friend had multiple spontaneous visions while talking with me - first of a red rose blooming and then, a month and a half later, of a red rose beside my face, its petals falling. Then, in September, I learned about the symbolism of the red and white rose in alchemy. And I remembered that I had all of us use a rose (I chose a white one) for the Aquarius full moon ritual in August 2019 (long before receiving any messages about alchemy or having any understanding of alchemy, and no worries if you are new to the Guide and didn’t participate in that ritual - you are here now, at the exact perfect time), and really, if I told you about ALL OF THE MESSAGES that have been flooding my system around all of this for months, this issue would be 100 pages longer than it needs to be, so, let’s cut to the chase, shall we? THIS IS ABOUT ALCHEMY. This October and the next six months - and really, so much of what has already happened (this really connects to this summer’s eclipses in a big way) - is about alchemy. Magically turning the world to gold, starting with yourself. ☆ Alchemy: the seemingly magical transmutation of matter What we’re doing here - in The Magic Guide, with The Magic Guide - is alchemy. Moon Magic is alchemical magic. The interplay between the sun and moon. Every new moon brings the sun and moon together, unifying their energies at the same degree within a specific sign. Every full moon places the sun and moon at opposite ends of the zodiac wheel - 180 degrees apart - allowing them to stand, separate but equal, grounded in themselves - yet completely connected, still connected, as the moon fully receives the sun’s light, allowing the sun to illuminate it in the night sky. Every time we practice these new and full moon rituals, we are harnessing the power of the sun and moon. We are honoring the natural rhythm in the universe of their unique dance. And by the way, these conjunctions and oppositions aren’t just astrological concepts. These are real astronomical measurements of the relationship between planetary bodies at given times. Real events that we can witness with our own eyes from Earth when the moon changes shape in the sky, shifting from dark to light. When Venus and Jupiter come together, forming one big bright star. ☆ In alchemy, there is the concept of the alchemical marriage - the unification of two halves, light and dark, yin and yang, and specifically within alchemy, these two halves are represented by the red rose and the white rose - the sun and moon. As women, we are not just the moon. As men, we are not just the sun. As people, we are THE SUN AND THE MOON. We shine all on our own, elevating others with our light, AND we receive light from others, allowing them to elevate us. This is the golden goal of alchemy. The golden goal of life. The golden goal of moon magic: to shine your brightest, to give and to receive, to live in alignment with the constancy of spirit that resides within you and shines through you. We are not meant to be just one thing and not the other. To only give and never receive. To only receive and never give. We ebb and flow, we dance with the energy, like the sun and moon. This is our unified state. And this Harvest moon - this Psyche cycle of transcendence (now through April) - is very much about reaching/revealing this unification. This marriage of energies. ☆ In astrology, Juno is the marriage asteroid, an asteroid that I’ve long said represents literal marriage - like what happens when two people fall in love and choose to have a ceremony of some sorts to officially, legally bind their lives - but I’ve also always said: JUNO MEANS UNION. It’s ultimately about this marriage of energy - sometimes between two people - but always, within yourself. ☆ This section goes deep into the nitty gritty, but I’m including it for those of you who thrive on the details. Feel free, as always, to just read the bold text: On June 30, 2015, when the Star of Bethlehem shined in the sky, Juno was very close to Venus, Jupiter, and Gold in Leo. On August 5, 2019, when the Aquarius full moon ritual called for a (white) rose, Juno, Mars, and DNA (the asteroid named after the genetic coding that forms our bodies...a.k.a. our matter) were all in the exact same place in Leo that Venus, Jupiter, and Gold were on June 30, 2015. ALSO, on both June 30, 2015, and August 5, 2019, the sun was conjunct the asteroid Klio, just as it will be on October 31. AND on the Aries new moon on March 24, 2020, that laid the foundation for the October 1st harvest moon, Juno and DNA were conjunct in Libra...just as they were on the Taurus new moon on April 22, 2020. The moon that set the stage for the Taurus blue moon that’s happening this October 31st. ALL OF THESE DATES CONNECT. The October 1st and October 31st full moons are interwoven, so it’s hard to speak about them completely separately so things may start to get a little confusing here, but basically, JUNO + DNA played a big role on both the new moons at the start of the year that laid the foundation for THIS MONTH. Juno = marriage and union. Alchemy deals with shifting matter. DNA is a building block of our material bodies. There is more. On the night of the Virgo new moon (September 17th), in my dream, I was given the date March 30, 1939, along with the message: EVERYTHING IS ON TRACK. In fact, in my dream, the date was beautifully written in cursive overtop of the illustration of a train. Now, on March 30, 1939, the sun was in the exact same spot in Aries where this harvest moon is falling on October 1st. This harvest moon is about THE SUN. AND on that seemingly random date from eighty-one years ago, Juno was perfectly conjunct DNA (in Aquarius actually, in my first house of the body, in the sign that Saturn will be moving into on SATURNALIA, but I’m getting ahead of myself). When I had the dream, I had never heard of the asteroid DNA before. All I saw when I looked up the date was that the sun was where the moon will be. I sensed that there was more to this date, and I trusted that it would reveal itself. THEN, a few hours later - at exactly 11:11 AM - one of you (thank you!), emailed me, telling me about a couple of asteroids you’d recently been researching. One of these was DNA. So I decided to plug this asteroid into the chart for March 30, 1939, and for all of the dates related to the October moons, and that’s when I saw: Juno + DNA. Conjunct, conjunct, conjunct. This harvest moon is about the sun and it’s about the Juno + DNA conjunction. But what does that mean? Juno + DNA? A couple of days later, a friend texted me a picture of a beautiful butterfly. A variety I don’t know if I’ve ever seen here before in NYC, but the blue tips on its wings suddenly reminded me of something I’d learned about when doing research for my book, Synchronicities. It reminded me of a variety of butterfly known as the Blue Moon Butterfly. I’ll share more later in this issue about what makes this butterfly so special, but for now, I’ll share that the word “blue moon” popped out at me because there is a blue moon this month on October 31st and because the random episode of TV I just happened to watch the very morning my friend sent me the picture of the butterfly mentioned how special a blue moon is. A blue moon is a rare event. When there are two full moons within one calendar month, the second full moon that month is known as the blue moon. Something big will happen with this blue moon, this rare event, this historic moon, big historic moon, there is so much more, you will see, you will see. I plugged in the date for the article I had on the blue moon butterfly - the article I’d first found over a year ago when finishing the current draft of my book. July 12, 2007. Juno was in Libra, as it was in March and April, and DNA was conjunct Venus and SATURN right near where the Star of Bethlehem was in 2015. Then there were a string of pings to other dates that entered my system over the period of forty-eight hours - through Jeopardy clues and more - that guided me to see that in December 2019 - with the eclipses that came then - Juno was conjunct DNA in Libra - and then, during this summer’s eclipses, June 5, 2020 through July 5, 2020, Juno and DNA were perfectly conjunct in Libra. Basically, we’ve been working with this ongoing Juno + DNA energy for most of 2020. This energy has been asking us to transform and transmute our DNA, to become unified in spirit and matter. And this is a lesson that we have actually been working with since last Harvest Season! For on the 2019 Harvest moon (a Pisces full moon on September 14, 2019), Juno and DNA were conjunct in Virgo at the exact same degree where the sun was on the Pisces full moon on September 2, 2020! Ok, so I know this is a lot of nitty gritty and dates and maybe your head is spinning like mine was when I was looking at all of this, but here’s the gist! WE ARE EVOLVING, RAPIDLY. Reflect back on everything that’s happened in your life since last Harvest Season (September 2019). Everything that you desired then has maybe felt thwarted by world events, but know that it’s all connected...you have received exactly what you needed in order to receive what you wanted then...we had to rise in order to receive. Basically, you have been evolving over the last five years, building to this point, this harvest now, to receive more than you’ve ever received before. AND on this harvest moon, Mercury conjuncts Juno in Scorpio. Learning about this UNION and this ALCHEMY is part of the secrets that are being revealed to you through the coming Mercury retrograde (see the end of the September Guide for last month’s reading on this). ☆ *Albedo - the whitening* In August 2019, the month before last year’s Harvest, I channeled the ritual with the (white) rose. This was the start of our “whitening stage.” In the alchemical process, this is a process of aligning with the white rose, and this is the stage of experiencing a purely spiritual inner event, a great clarity. In other words, what we’ve been experiencing over the last year - as a collective - is primarily an inner, spiritual evolution. THE MOON. This event transpires from the ashes of the blackening - nigredo - from entering our shadows and exploring our underworld. In alchemy, following the nigredo and the albedo, comes the citrinitas - or, the yellowing. That transmutation of silver to gold. Otherwise known as the “solar dawn or awakening.” THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING. This is what I have been, unknowingly, channeling and writing about in the recent issues. Especially starting in May, after the Aries and Taurus new moons. In May, I wrote that it’s always darkest before the dawn, and I wrote about a mass spiritual awakening. I continued writing about this in June and July, leading to the Aquarius full moon in August, when I wrote all about us becoming golden. Whereas last year’s Aquarius full moon was about the white rose. This year’s Aquarius full moon was about the gold, the awakening of our solar plexus, mentioned in last month’s guide. As we move through this, as we have moved through this, as it moves through us - as individuals and as a collective - we are now beginning to arrive at the final stage: rubedo - the reddening. *final* except, it’s a circle. Not so linear. We returned to the nigredo - the shadow - last month, and all of these stages are, in their own way, happening all at once. Still, now, with this harvest moon, we arrive at the reddening. That time when the great inner event (the blackening of the shadows, the whitening of the mind, the yellowing of the soul) is made manifest ON EARTH in the light of THE SUN. Rubedo is the philosopher’s stone. Rubedo is wholeness, the unity of opposites. We are closer now, closer, arriving. This event will ripple in bigger and bigger waves over the next six+ months. And for longer, for longer, along the wheel. ☆ On this harvest moon, with the energy of the sun and moon alive inside us - strong but separate - we break free from any ties that have bound us to a singular expression (the expression of just one thing) and we begin to embody our fullness. For we are all this union. We live in union. I am you. You are me. We are one. We are in this together, and as the full moon rises and we arrive at this union, we experience a great ecstasy. For there is ecstasy in union. Like an orgasm. “Here to paradise they goe to wonne” Wonne meaning joy, delight, bliss, ECSTASY That is what this full moon brings. The harvest moon is ecstasy on fire, ecstasy brought to life, divine union within, rippling out over the course of the month to result in your and our rapid evolution. ☆☆☆☆ So far, for this harvest moon, we’ve discussed the star dancers of the sun + moon + Chiron, Venus + Gold, and Juno + DNA. All of whom are working together to LIGHT YOU UP FROM THE INSIDE OUT. But there are two more key players for this moon...and really, this whole month and the months to come, especially as power shifts over here, where I live, in America. These players are: Eunomia and Eris. I had never heard of Eunomia until yesterday, September 24th. You see, I woke yesterday morning after dreaming about being handed a British coin with a picture of the Queen on it that said HARVEST SEASON. This made me realize that I had “accidentally” pulled the wrong date for one of the many dates I was guided to research for this October issue. Let’s rewind a bit. Rewind to July 7, 2020, two days after the final Capricorn eclipse of the two year Capricorn/Cancer cycle. On July 7, 2020, I received MANY messages. Messages about witchcraft and magic and about Queen Victoria’s GOLDEN Jubilee. This all started because my mom sent me an ancestry publication with the picture of a beautiful clock tower on the cover. The clock tower had the initials VR on it, and since these are my initials (Virginia Richardson), I was of course intrigued. I did some digging and learned that the clocktower was built in Essex, England for Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887. VR stood for Victoria Regina. (Click here for the picture of the clocktower I found then, which just happened to be posted by a man with the last name Richardson...1,644 views.) ☆ Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee was held on June 20, 1887, the day before the summer solstice. “During prayers for the Queen at the Abbey, a beam of sunlight fell upon her bowed head, which the future Queen Liliuokalani of Hawaii noted as a mark of divine favor.” On August 17, 2020, I was walking to the subway from the doctor’s office when suddenly I felt called to turn right and walk down this one street that I could have easily avoided by simply continuing to go straight and waiting to turn right many blocks later. But turn right, I felt, so I turned, walking past Tibetan prayer flags - hanging from a fire escape above a Starbucks window - before seeing a big banner hanging on a lamppost that read “Jubilee Celebration” at the top. Below, there was information detailing the church to my left that was celebrating its 150th year of serving the neighborhood. I kept walking, turning left at the next street, wrapping around the church, and then, I stopped in my tracks at the next corner - in part because the light was red, but also because of the roses, so many roses, growing just inside the garden, behind the iron fence. Beyond the roses, I saw a statue of the Virgin Mary, and above her head, on the windowsill, I saw a white pigeon - otherwise known as a dove. I laughed and snapped a picture, felt that this moment here was important, beautiful, felt the power of this message flooding my system as everywhere I looked I turned and saw sign after sign, like when I finally crossed the street and walked right past a woman carrying a bag that read “Hale and Hearty.” The name of a local soup shop that I used to go to all the time when working in Manhattan, but despite having seen these two words together on countless cups of soup, I had never once made this connection until just now, passing the woman with the bag on the sidewalk: Hale is my ancestor’s last name. John Hale - my eighth-great grandfather - the man who was involved in the Salem witch trials, the man who wrote A Modest Enquiry into the Nature of Witchcraft in 1702. Stick with me now. Toward the end of September, I watched the pilot of a new TV show with my husband. In it, the characters mentioned that more people were executed during the witch trials in Essex than in any of the other trials in the U.K. When I heard Essex, I immediately thought of Queen Victoria and the clock tower, the ancestry publication my mom sent, John Hale and the witch trials in Salem, and then on September 19th, I opened the book I’d been reading - a fictional novel about witches (Shadow of Night) - and there it was on page 143: “A dove had flown through the clerestory windows...It beat its wings, slowing before the likeness of the Virgin. When I was convinced it was going to crash into the wall, it swiftly reversed direction and flew back out the way it had entered. A long white feather from the dove’s wing drifted and curled on the currents of air…’Did you find him in the church?’ he asked quietly. The sight of him - so hale and hearty - made my heart drop.” My jaw dropped! I don’t know if I’ve ever read or heard someone use the phrase “hale and hearty” before in my life. I don’t think I’d ever encountered it anywhere but on the signs for that soup shop, the bag I’d carry my soup back to the office in, the cup that held the tomato bisque. The moment I read that passage, I thought of the synchronicities that day in August - seeing the dove and the Virgin and the bag - and I thought of Essex, and I thought of Salem (how I wrote all about it in the July Guide and how it connects with America and America’s core wound and this upcoming presidential election) - and I thought of the picture I snapped of the statue. How later that day, when I returned home from the doctor, I looked at the picture, saw what the camera captured that my eyes did not - the beam of sunlight shining right at her, landing just under her bowed head. Divine favor The dove looked like it was going to crash but it swiftly reversed direction. Rapid evolution. I pulled the astrology for the date of the Golden Jubilee, figured there must be a reason all of this is coming up now. The celebration of a ruler. Then, I dreamt of the coin, woke in the morning, realized I’d “accidentally” pulled the date not for the Jubilee, but for the day that then Princess Victoria was awoken at six in the morning, at the age of eighteen, and told that her uncle, the king, had died. One month later, she was crowned queen. On that fateful day in 1837, Klio was conjunct the sun in Gemini (shh, this will become important later. There are no accidents). So I entered the correct date into my software: June 20, 1887, now with the asteroid DNA. And right away, I saw it: on the day of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, the sun was conjunct Chiron (like it will be on this harvest moon) and it was conjunct the asteroid DNA. I searched the chart for Psyche but couldn’t find her anywhere. I went back to make sure she was in the system, I typed “1” and went to follow it with a “6” (for asteroid #16) but with the slip of a finger and a rapid click of a button, I “accidentally” entered “15,” plugging an asteroid into the chart that I had never heard of before. Asteroid #15 - Eunomia My jaw dropped. Again. On the day of the Golden Jubilee, this asteroid that I’d never heard of before and accidentally entered because of the slip of my finger was perfectly conjunct the sun, Chiron, and DNA (in Gemini). And Psyche (once I finally got her added) was perfectly conjunct the asteroid Gold. Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee was gold on gold (Psyche being the golden asteroid) at the same degree in Virgo where Juno + DNA were on last year’s harvest moon. And the sun, Chiron, DNA, and Eunomia were coming together to HEAL THE EGO (THE SELF) - the split identity of Gemini - AND DELIVER THIS HEALING TO THE MATERIAL WORLD (DNA) THROUGH THE RESTORATION OF LAW AND ORDER. Because Eunomia, you see, was the goddess of law & legislation. And it’s actually a huge asteroid, making up 1% of the asteroid belt. She was the goddess of “good order” (hello Libra Season and balance and harmony) and the goddess of springtime and green pastures (hello last month’s guide saying that this fall and winter will feel more like spring). Because, of course, ALL OF THIS relates to now. ☆ On the Aries new moon on March 24th, Eunomia and Eris were perfectly conjunct in Aries, on America’s Chiron. Whereas Eunomia is good order, Eris is named after the goddess of chaos, disorder, and strife. Eris is a dwarf planet, and it’s only known moon is named after Eunomia’s sister Dysnomia, the goddess of lawlessness. (In astronomy, Dysnmoia is classified under Eris’ number because they move together, and in astrology, they are calculated at the same point.) In other words, Eris/Dysnomia and Eunomia are opposites. And on the Aries new moon, these two opposites - law and lawlessness - were brought together to receive healing (Chiron) in America. But remember that Chiron isn’t just a healer. Chiron is the wounded healer, and sometimes (/always?), it’s through the wounding, that we receive the greatest healing. So back in March, as America was overtaken by the coronavirus (which, by the way, means CROWN VIRUS), and as we experienced an extreme lack of order in how the virus was handled by our federal government (see Bob Woodward’s book on how the president knew the virus was deadly months earlier but continued to misinform the American people and refuse to implement the strategies recommended by top epidemiologists to contain the virus...a book that just happened to come out with the Virgo new moon), as we experienced the shutdown of American “normalcy,” really, what was happening, is that America was being called to face the dynamic between its order and disorder, its laws and lawlessness. A reckoning that we continue to face and that has been amplified not just through the handling of the virus and government malfeasance but through the wrongful deaths - correction: murders - of black Americans at the hands of the very people entrusted to enforce the laws. The lawlessness is CLEAR. Doesn’t it have to be, for us to heal it? And make no mistake, that is what we are doing - as painfully, heartbreakingly slow as it is taking - for on the harvest moon, Eris (currently retrograde in Aries) is conjunct Mars (also retrograde). Mars is action and war. It’s literally conjunct lawlessness right now (facepalm). But this conjunction is happening on America’s CHIRON as the moon conjuncts CHIRON. This is to heal this behavior. And Eris and Mars are retrograde because what is happening now will be rewritten and revised. It is UNDER REVIEW. To really drive this message home, know that not only is Eris on America’s Chiron (a point I focused on hugely in the Astrology of America section of July’s Magic Guide), but Eunomia has now moved out of Aries and has moved forward from where it was in March. Now, Eunomia is in Cancer, near America’s part of fortune (GOOD ORDER IS AMERICA’S HARVEST), and on November 3, 2020, the day of the American presidential election, Eunomia will be perfectly conjunct America’s north node, its destiny point (another point I wrote extensively about in July). This means that Eunomia will also be conjunct Hektor in America’s chart. AND on November 3, Mars will have moved past Eris. It will no longer be conjunct disorder. Instead, on the date of the election, Mars is conjunct Hektor in Aries, aligning all action and movement with America’s destiny, with good order. And on that note, the big Psyche cycle I wrote about earlier is happening right on America’s Mars. With each of the Psyche conjunctions over the next six months, America’s actions are transcending what they have been...they are becoming golden. And Psyche is a huge asteroid for America. It conjuncts America’s sun. America IS Psyche. It is the story of transcending from the underbelly to rise shining. And also on election day, Proserpina (a.k.a. Persephone) is right next to Eunomia, right on America’s destiny point. This is the rising of law and order. And to just double down on all of these messages...DNA is conjunct Mars in America’s chart...and on the day of the election, the sun is moving towards Juno to be perfectly conjunct on November 9. AND on inauguration day, January 20, 2021 (just two days before Psyche goes direct), Juno is crossing America’s rising. You see, not only are you turning golden and I’m turning golden but America and the world is turning golden. Heaven on Earth. I cannot promise the result of the election. I cannot promise the timing of how all of this shakes out, and honestly, both Trump and Biden’s charts are so wildly connected to this moment in time and involve literally all of the asteroids and planets that are in this month’s guide it’s kind of mind blowing (Trump will literally be having his karmic return - that’s when the karmic nodes of the moon return to where they were when you were born - during the election), so I can’t make promises, and the fact that these candidates are our options definitely feels fated (ugh), and while there are many things I can’t say, what I can tell you is this: I have faith in the messages. I have faith that however this all comes together, we are moving in the right direction. We are on track. We are healing. We are preparing for our Golden Age, our Golden Jubilee. I have faith in the power of Saturnalia on December 17th. Faith in the eclipses coming in November (I know - how are we already almost at MORE ECLIPSES?!). I have faith in the fact that on March 21st, Saturn left Capricorn and moved into Aquarius just before the Aries new moon. Before we all had to retreat and regroup and SEE. Before Saturn retrograded and returned to Capricorn - the sign notorious for abuses of structural power - and I have faith in the fact that Saturn will be leaving Capricorn yet again and re-entering Aquarius ON SATURNALIA (December 17th). I have faith in the vision I had in June that showed the BRIGHT GOLDEN LIGHT flooding the United State Capitol Building. I have faith that it’s not a coincidence that I saw this and that the temple to Saturn in ancient Rome was located near CAPITOLINE HILL. I have faith that somehow we will arrive at Saturn’s teaching that ushered in the great Golden Age: how to settle your differences using words instead of violence. And I have faith in the fact that I was guided to this bizarre synchronicity related to the celebration of a ruler 133 years ago, a ruler who unexpectedly took power - like the dove, swiftly changing direction - the same day that Klio conjuncted the sun. Which she will do again...right before the election. And I have faith that when I was looking at all of this, and specifically looking at November 20, 2020, Psyche’s second north node conjunction, I heard “THIS IS THE DAY!” and it felt good, and I wasn’t told for what exactly, but I saw a woman swimming through the water in the underworld and finally coming up for air, taking a big deep breath, and I was then guided to learn about the Isle of Blest (otherwise known as the Islands of the Blessed), a section of the underworld - just past the water - where the most righteous were sent. A paradise for heroes (remember Hektor? The spiritual warrior hero?). And this paradise? Is ruled by Cronus...a.k.a. Saturn. Fun Fact: There are these “mysterious bright anomalies known as ‘magic islands’ that wink in and out of existence on the seas of [the planet] Saturn's largest moon, Titan.” And I have faith that the final card in the Mars reading - the card for January, inauguration month - showed a woman wrapped in gold, rising from the water. And then - just for good measure *maybe, fingers crossed* - I was guided to see that November 20th is Joe Biden’s birthday. ☆ Woo! Okay. That was a lot...as The Message suggested, this month brings A LOT OF ENERGY. If you reflect back on the card for this month - the one that came out in December for the year ahead reading in January’s Guide - the card is The Knight of Cups. I saw and re-read this card AFTER channeling The Message, but if you look back at it, you will see the overlaps in imagery and the messages for now. And I do not make these connections up. I could not make these connections up. My memory’s not that great. Especially when I’m channeling (that’s why I read every issue with you over the course of each month, even though I wrote it. You see, I still need to read it because “I” wasn’t writing it, not completely.) October is a BATH OF EMOTIONS. And TIME IS FLYING. tempus fugit But we make our way out of the water. Just like the Mars reading from August described, just like last month’s Mercury retrograde reading described, just like the vision I had when looking at the astrology for November 20, 2020. ☆ In short, this harvest moon brings ECSTATIC UNITY for all, for you to SHINE - showing the world the treasures you have inside - and for the world (including America) to do the same. Good order is coming. All in divine timing. ☆ The tape that sealed the window shut was red, white, and blue. Like the American flag. Like the red and white roses. For some reason - this isn’t logical to me - but I can feel, I can see, how this month’s three moons are each associated with these three colors. The Harvest moon is the Red Moon. The red rose. The sun. Aries, fire. The Libra new moon (October 16th) is the White Moon. The white rose. The moon. Libra, receiving and reflecting, in partnership. And the final moon of the month - the extra special BLUE moon - is, of course, BLUE. The Taurus full moon is the Blue Moon. Bringing fidelity, security, truth. For blue embodies all of this. It is also, of course, the color of water, the color of the sky. The great swim to the Golden Age. The specks of blue on the butterfly’s wings. ☆ During all of this powerful harvest energy. All of this alchemical magic flooding our systems, Pluto turns direct in Capricorn on October 4th. This - like Jupiter turning direct and Saturn turning direct last month - supports the freeing of Capricorn energy and our progression forward. And on October 13, just three days before the Libra new moon, Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio. This retrograde, which was detailed in full in last month’s guide, is not about lost keys and technology mishaps. Sure, these may happen, but this is about something so much bigger. This is about OUR ROOTS. This is about WHO WE ARE. This is about OUR MOTHERS. And OUR MOTHERS’ MOTHER. This is part of the great awakening of the “feminine” moon. The white rose. The power that happens when the sun and the moon come together, their energies blended, unified to birth something new. New life. Here, you become your own mother. Here, you become the world’s great mother. Here, you birth yourself. ☆ The Libra new moon arrives on October 16, 2020, at approximately 24 degrees Libra (check your chart to see where this lands for you and what aspect (a.k.a. planet and house) are being rebirthed for you). On this new moon, Eros - the god of erotic/romantic love and Psyche’s husband - conjuncts the asteroid Vesta and Gold. This blend of energy - at the cusp of Leo and Virgo, near that same spot that just keeps being emphasized through this cycle connected to Psyche’s transit of Gemini - is all about falling madly in love with your HOME HERE ON EARTH. Your body, and the way it moves and the way it separates you from others and the way it allows you to experience your connection to others. Gemini is the sign of the twins, the split self, the many masks. Psyche’s transits through Gemini are so powerful because it’s about transcending the divisions that exist within your mind about your Self. This month - and everything that led to this month, all the way back to Queen Victoria’s celebration in 1887 (and really, back into infinity) - has been about delivering you to your unified Self. Mercury conjuncts Juno again (as it did on the Harvest moon), helping your mind unify. And this is happening in Scorpio of all signs, taking you to the deepest depths of your being. And of course, the new moon itself is occurring in Libra. The sign of partnership - two halves - and finding balance and harmony between them. On this new moon, you start to find the profound internal harmony that I alluded to in last month’s guide. You plant the seeds for your own birth as your whole, unified, fully integrated self on the Libra full moon on March 28, 2021. Just as Psyche is completing her retrograde cycle in Gemini. Gemini and Libra are both air signs. Their energy is mental. This is about changing your mind. ALTERING YOUR MIND. I’m hearing the Shakespeare Sonnet 116: Let me not to the marriage of true minds

I never writ, nor no man ever lov'd. This new moon is the next step in your evolution to complete and total self love. The kind of self love that elevates you beyond the earth. Beyond the need for the drama that lives here. Beyond the suffering. Of course, you may then choose to return, as we often do, for the fun of it, for the beauty of having a body and seeing the face of someone we love, for the treasure of helping others, for the familiarity and comfort - like that which comes from the delicious treat you enjoyed as a child, that had you say, Oh mum, can’t I have just one more? This Libra new moon is about birthing your love for life, through your love for yourself, and a profound universal love and compassion that you will feel for all beings everywhere, for as you experience the unity within, you cannot help but experience the unity without. This Libra new moon is about love. ☆ The Libra new moon delivers the key that helps us navigate the BIG ENERGY that Harvest Season brings. It feels like a cool, smooth glass of clean water after running a mile in the heat. Now that it’s cooler in here, the air lighter, the breeze crisp, it finally feels like fall. It feels like hope. It feels like freedom, like freedom is coming soon, like all of this nonsense will soon be over. ☆ I was just *randomly* called to re-read what I wrote about Libra Season in last month’s issue. I remember writing that section from feeling, just how it all felt in my body, just allowing the words to move through me. This is what I wrote: “Libra Season can often result in compromising yourself for others - as Libra’s tend to view everything in the context of how other people feel and what they think - but that’s not what this season feels like. It feels instead like complete balance within yourself that then yields complete harmony in your life and all of your relationships. I feel a great soothing coming, a release. Something is going to shift that makes us all feel a hell of a lot better.” I just had to smile reading that and reflecting now on everything that’s moved through me - for you - so far this issue. The great alchemical process of internal harmony, the sun and the moon. The feeling yet again of being soothed. Something coming that soothes us all. ☆ Coming, on October 22, the sun moves into Scorpio and Psyche goes retrograde. This Scorpio Season has an underbelly of violence and terror, deep in our guts, fear moving through our minds, but on the surface, in our hearts - if we can choose to live there - there is a softening, a peace. Tranquility. Now is when our faith is tested. All of this beauty has happened. These moments of seeing just how held we are, of witnessing our transcendence, but now, you might start to doubt. You may wonder whether you were making it all up, whether it was too good to be true. Maybe the world really is the dangerous, cruel place you’ve feared it is, that life is just as Hobbes described: nasty, brutish, and short. That all this talk of Heaven on Earth and immortality and oneness are just some fantasy we’ve created to make it all bearable when clearly, plainly: THIS IS UNBEARABLE. You are in the heat of the transmutation now, the moment just before dawn, before the silver turns to gold, before the miracle. Now is when the doubt creeps in the most. Now is when you want to turn back, you want to give up. PERSIST. PERSEVERE. Breathe into the knowledge that you are not a fool. You are a wise, beautiful, loving being. A creature here - like all creatures - connected to each other, tuned in, able to see the bigger waves. See the wave. Close your eyes right now and LOOK AT IT. Let it take you over. Let it WASH OVER YOU. Let it fill you with the knowledge that you fear most: the knowledge of your power. Let it breathe faith into you like you never knew existed. Not blind and loyal. But doubting, curious, full of love and the authentic search for truth. Then, place your hand on your heart and feel now, as you breathe, that this is truth, this is truth, this is truth. ☆ On October 27, Mercury moves back into Libra, “moving backwards” through its retrograde. This is a gift. This is when we revisit the lessons of the Libra new moon, the feeling of BIG LOVE that buoys our faith. On this same day, Venus moves into Libra from Virgo. So within Libra, you have Mercury on one end and Venus on the other, opening two energetic channels - like windows - into two ends of Libra energy. The two extremes of the spectrum of MARRIAGE. The surrender of yourself to another, the losing of yourself in the depths of it all - for the worst (your silence) and for the best (your surrender). How can you be both you - fully you, embodied, powerful, showing up - and also be a vessel for the unity that is all things? What does this look like? Look in the mirror. It looks like you. It looks like you. It looks like you. ☆ A few days later, on October 31st - Halloween - there is a very special, Taurus full blue moon at approximately 8 degrees Taurus. The phrase “once in a blue moon” is because truly, blue moons are rare. Happening only about every 2.5 years. The next blue moon will happen on August 30, 2023, and the last blue moon happened on March 31, 2018 (reflect back). This full moon connects back to the Taurus new moon on April 22nd. In addition to the Juno + DNA conjunction on that new moon, the sun, Uranus, and the moon were conjunct in Taurus alongside...Eunomia. In short, the Taurus new moon set the stage for us experiencing good order (Eunomia) through personal freedom (Uranus). And this month’s Taurus full moon is falling incredibly close to where that new moon fell (just like how the Aries full moon fell very close to its corresponding new moon from March), and like the new moon in April, this full moon conjuncts Uranus. Uranus being God of the Sky, ruler of Aquarius (where Saturn will move to on Saturnalia), gifter of divine inner authority, complete trust in your ego and self, and the freedom to be exactly as you are. Uranus is also known as the rebel planet, but this full moon is not a violent rebellion. This is a rebellion made in accordance with the law, not in chaos. For also on the Taurus new moon that laid the foundation for this full moon, Psyche was conjunct Eris in Aries. In short, the Taurus new moon was all about helping us embrace Eunomia (law & order) and transcend lawlessness (Eris). That was the intention imprinted on the earth on April 22nd, and now, on October 31st and in the days that follow - those first two weeks of November (election included) - that intention is realized as the full moon conjuncts Uranus and Psyche conjuncts the north node. ☆ “The Blue Moon butterfly lives on an island in the South Pacific. In 2006, a deadly parasite killed the entire population of male Blue Moon butterflies - except for one percent, which survived. That one percent evolved rapidly. It developed an immunity to the parasite, and this evolution occurred so quickly that by the end of the year, males had increased their numbers to the point that they accounted for forty percent of the Blue Moon butterfly population.” from Synchronicities The Blue Moon butterfly is an example of just how rapidly evolution can occur, just how rapidly populations can shift and change. We often think of evolution as happening slowly, over thousands and millions of years. But evolution is always happening. Even right now, in your current body, you can evolve, you can change. You can turn some of your genes on and off. Like light switches. Affecting what manifests in your body and what doesn’t. For those of you who may not know, this field of study is called epigenetics, and this ability to turn some of our genes on and off is a very real, measurable aspect of our material reality. Of our bodies. Whenever people say It’s just genetic, I cringe a bit. Cringe because there’s this common misconception that our DNA is immutable, something we are stuck with and have no relationship with - like it just makes everything about us and nothing we do affects it. But this simply isn’t true. Epigenetics is proof of this. Our choices can affect how our DNA presents. And there’s this common misconception that the whole material world is like this - this external thing that dictates to us and shapes us against our will. While there’s plenty that is beyond our control and plenty that we can and do control that we probably shouldn’t, the reality is that the material world is alive. Maybe not in the sense of being completely composed of animal and plant cells (though there are a lot of those all around us all the time, including a bazillion that aren’t visible to the naked eye), but the world is CONNECTED. It is constantly COMMUNICATING. With you and you with it. You matter. Your matter matters. You call into being the world around you as you shape the world inside you with your choices, your communication, and all the signals you give to your DNA - that blueprint, that instruction manual, that jumping off point for construction. There is more - more ways we shape things. We haven’t figured it all out yet. But you are communicating with so much more than just the DNA in your body. Your voice matters. ☆ During the Pisces full moon last month, I received so much information about evolution. About freeing the mind from victimization and evolving from the body up. Matter shifting (DNA shifting), affecting the mind, affecting Spirit. All while the sun was in an EARTH sign (Virgo) and the moon in WATER (Pisces, Spirit). But this Taurus full moon is bringing a different kind of evolution - a reverse order, above to below. This is involution, and it’s always working alongside evolution as we typically think of it from the biological perspective. This is Spirit/God/Divine Forces/Maybe This Is Dark Matter/We Don’t Know - Whatever it is is coming down and shaping the body, shifting matter - rapidly. I’ve experienced aspects of all of this first hand time and time again. Like how I used to be very sick (two autoimmune diseases, epilepsy), but then, it all went away. Like how one day my skin will be glowing and the next all broken out and then the next, glowing again, shifting so quickly. Like how I can do a ritual - shifting some matter here and there by lighting a candle, saying some words, breathing, trusting that that matter is connected to everything else, trusting in chaos theory (a butterfly flapping its wings here can make a tornado happen over there...or a miracle) - I can do a ritual and see the result. See things shifting, see things growing where they weren’t before, receive the very thing I wished for, whatever it is. This is magic. This is alchemy. This is evolution. ☆ On the Taurus full moon, we are rapidly evolving. The sun conjuncts Klio (the muse of history) and Juno (unification/marriage) in Scorpio - a water sign, holding the energy of Spirit. And the sun talks to the moon in Taurus - an Earth sign. This is the exact opposite direction of the Pisces full moon. This is involution. Spirit shaping matter. As I looked around my bed at all of the sheets of paper I printed containing different dates - so many more than I’ve even mentioned here - I just kept seeing the same thing on page after page after page: Juno + DNA and Juno + Klio. EVERYWHERE. This is the energy of this moon. This Halloween Taurus Blue full moon, its intention set under the energy of Juno + DNA, and its intention realized as Juno and Klio conjunct the sun. What does this mean? Juno + DNA = THE MARRIAGE OF DNA Juno + Klio = THE HISTORY OF MARRIAGE This could affect relationships in your life in a very real way. Forging committed partnerships/marriages, but this is also so much more. This Taurus full moon is about OUR ROOTS, our ancestry, our history. Happening on Halloween of all days - a holiday that historically is all about the thinning of the veil, the strengthening of our connection to the other side(s), to our ancestors, to all that is. In the biological structure of DNA, there is marriage. Every strand of DNA is formed as base pairs bond together. You’ve seen the image of DNA - the double helix, like a twisted ladder. The sides of the ladder: a strand of DNA bases. The rungs of the ladder: these bases (one on each side) coming together to form a pair. A marriage. This is our genetic code, our material blueprint. Rooted in bonding, unification, connection. And at some point, this was completely new. DNA has not always existed (in terms of linear time). There was a time in the history of Earth when DNA was born. I’m talking way farther back than mitochondrial Eve (the human mother of us all). I’m talking before humans, before bacteria, before life as we know it. When DNA was first formed and held inside a membrane. This is LUCA. The Last Universal Common Ancestor. The first marriage. The instruction manual for all the life that evolved next. ☆ Starting at the end of last November (2019), I started seeing the double helix everywhere. When I’d open IG, when I’d turn on the TV, when I’d look out my window at night and see the newly installed exterior lights reflecting on the side of the building across the courtyard. Literally, I looked out and it looked like a double helix, winding its way up the side of the building. I called my husband over, Look! He saw it too. But it wasn’t just any double helix. And the images I was encountering again and again weren’t just any old picture of DNA. They were often golden strands. Gold DNA. And the lights on the side of the building? Gold. Golden DNA lit up the view from my bedroom window for months. I mentioned this before. Back in May. Back when the nodes of the moon first moved into Gemini and Sagittarius (where they are now). Mentioned how the last time they were in these signs as they are now, scientists finished mapping the human genome. An expansion in our understanding of DNA played a big role in the last Gemini/Sag nodal cycle like the one we are currently in. We may experience a new revelation now. Not just for ourselves, reading this, but for the world. Of course, as I was seeing all of these images of DNA and seeing the number 55 everywhere, I knew nothing about the asteroid DNA (#55555), knew nothing about the fact that it was conjunct in Libra (the sign of marriage). I didn’t know about any of that until literally just a few days ago. And on this Taurus full moon, the asteroid DNA conjuncts the asteroid Helenus. The asteroid I first wrote about in May (because it was conjunct the Scorpio full moon), when I first wrote to you about DNA, and I wrote about the asteroid Helenus again in July because of the huge role it was playing in the eclipses and in the astrology of America. This asteroid, Helenus - the prophet who is believed - has been at the heart of the mass spiritual awakening we are experiencing during these trying Covid times. And on this Taurus full moon, DNA conjuncts Helenus in Scorpio, moving that awakening from our mind’s/soul’s and into our bodies. Now is when we really truly start to manifest the awakening in tangible ways. ☆ This is all happening on Halloween, a holiday rooted in Celtic origin, in the celebration of Samhain (pronounced sa-win) 2,000 years ago. For the Celtics, this was a deeply spiritual day, and also, it was their New Year’s Eve. The end of one time and the welcoming of another time. For the day that followed - November 1st - was their New Year, their new beginning. ☆ I find myself looking back at the year ahead reading again now. Seeing the words I channeled in December for the end of October: “This is about finding the balance in ourselves of the new energy blueprint.” And now, I’m seeing the card for November: the big golden coin. Seeing how it wants to be upright but is struggling. We must overcome our confusion and our doubt. We must face our fear. We must hold the image of the coin upright, held, in our minds. For October is ushering us into the beginning, and it is just the beginning. November brings an election and the start to Eclipse Season. The first November eclipse in seven years. It’s happening in Gemini, happening as the sun conjuncts DNA and Helenus...the story continues.
