THE STORY
Introduction
Weāre halfway there. Weāre almost there. June is the midway point, a bridge. This month, itās like we walk across a bridge between what was and what will be. We move towards our destiny together. ā On June 1st, the sun conjuncts the destiny point, and we gather, together. Together from the Old English, tÅgƦdere. TÅgƦdere, meaning āso as to be present in one place, in a group, in an accumulated massā from the Proto-Germanic *gaduri-, which means āin a body,ā and from *ghedh-, which means āto unite, join, fit.ā (etymology) We are uniting with the WHOLE BODY, the greater body of being of which we are all a part. Here - in this great body - we gather, together in June. June, the month named for the goddess Juno. Juno, like the asteroid of marriage, uniting two halves. The asteroid at the heart of the great unification cycle that is the founding principle of this entire year, 2021. Weāre halfway there. We are coming together. The energy from May 26thās total lunar eclipse is rippling through, shaping - SETTING ON FIRE - the first nine days of June. Where is this fire? Itās everywhere. Itās outside. Itās inside. Itās inside. ā
Part I: The Two Keys
On May 2nd, I crawled into bed, pulled the blankets over my body and prepared to go to sleep for the last time in my apartment in New York City. But first, before sleep, I pulled out one of my favorite decks. I drew a card for the week ahead - for the week of leaving New York City, my home of the last eight and a half years - and the card read: WISHES FULFILLED, and the picture featured a bounty of fruit and cake and wine and gold and flowers on a wooden table, overlooking a beautiful landscape, and also, on that wooden table, there were two sets of keys - a ring of five golden keys and a ring of three darker keys. And the card came with a visualization exercise: Close your eyes and feel someone hand you a set of golden keys. One of them opens the most important door before you. Open the door and see what lies ahead. - The Akashic Tarot I smiled at the card, placed it on my nightstand, and as I closed my eyes to fall asleep, I decided to do this, to imagine someone handing me a set of golden keys. Except when I saw the keys, they werenāt all golden. They were copper and bronze save for one. One was shining gold, and at its bow, there was the image of a heart on fire, and as I held it - in my mind - I knew, without a doubt, that this wasnāt the key to the new city or the new apartment where I was moving the next day. This wasnāt a key to a great career opportunity or anything outside of me, this was a key to a door inside my heart. In my mindās eye, I held the key and immediately, intuitively, turned it towards my chest. I unlocked the mysterious door residing there, and as I did, I saw and felt my heart become like a sinkhole - a big gaping hole, expanding wider and wider, and as it did, everything that surrounded it fell into its sphere - and the hole itself was golden. My heart became a radiating golden, ever-expanding hole. Whole. I fell asleep thinking: something happens to my heart because of this move, it unlocks something. ā The next day, as my husband and I drove eight hours and seven degrees west, towards our new home, I pulled out my phone and read an email that one of you had sent me the day before. It was all about the heart and certain research describing the human heartās electromagnetic field. This particular research suggested that our heart creates a field that can reach about twelve to fifteen feet beyond our bodies. The idea of this immediately made me think of the falling sensation I kept experiencing in the fall. Whenever I would lie down, I would start to feel myself falling. It felt like the entire building where I was - ten stories high - was collapsing beneath me, and I was falling to the earth. You can read the full story about this in the March Guide, but in short, the messages I received then told me that the falling sensation was a result of my field expanding. That I needed to simply breathe into the sensation. I needed to accept it instead of recoiling in fear, and when I did this - I started breathing and I stopped being afraid - the falling sensation stopped. In these same intuitive messages I received about the falling sensation, I was also told that the closer I was to the surface of the earth, the more powerful my field would become because then - with my feet on the ground - my field would connect with the layers of the earth and ripple through them instead of just connecting with the air, which was what was happening when I was living ten stories high. And as I sat in the car, driving west, driving to live closer to the earth, I just happened to have this email in my inbox. I just happened to be reading about the idea that the heartās field extends twelve to fifteen feet, and I thought about how if this is true then those messages from the fall made sense - the need to be close to the surface of the earth makes sense. But I didnāt know for sure. I didnāt know if I could fully trust this particular research about the heart, so before I sat down to write this for you, I did my own research. And while I couldnāt find confirmation in Nature or Science Mag or another peer-reviewed source that gives me the confidence to say āthis has been proven,ā I did find a primary source for this heart research through a private institute that I first heard of years ago called HeartMath. To be clear, I honestly donāt know if I fully back the science shared on HeartMath. I havenāt quite been able to confirm their research in a way that gives me confidence, which doesnāt meant that it isnāt out there, but it means that I couldnāt easily find it, so I want to present this information to you within the context of: we really donāt know for sure, but hereās an interesting idea that certain people are sharing based on a lot of evidence that theyāve compiled through their exploration. Hereās what HeartMath says: āEvery time the heart beats, it creates a magnetic field that we can measure, using a magnetometer. Remember in science class in school, when you dumped iron filings on a glass plate, and they all magically lined up with the filed lines of the magnet? Those magnetic field lines are also produced by the beating heart (and the earth). The heartās magnetic field communicates to all the cells in the body, and it also reaches out and can affect the people around us. In fact, we can measure the energetic interaction of the magnetic fields between peopleā¦ā These particular researchers have even connected this idea with the Schumann Resonance - the electrical hum found in most animals that seems to have once upon a time synced life on Earth with the low frequency electrical waves that have encircled the earth for billions of years. I first shared about the Schumann resonance in the February Magic Guide in relation to the idea of increasing our personal magnetism by harmonizing ourselves with this natural frequency encircling the earth, and these resonances came up again last month when we explored the research about harmonizing the hemispheres of our brains and the connection between this and psychic experiences. This natural resonance just keeps coming up. And it isnāt high. Itās not about being high vibe. Itās about relaxing, synching with these ELF (extremely low frequency) waves, and here it is coming up in connection to the heart. To the idea that our beating hearts have their own magnetic fields that communicate with our brains and interact with the world around us. These same ideas keep coming up again and again: synching, harmonizing, harmonizing our hearts and brains and our entire being with the unified whole of existence that we are a part of. The energy that surrounds us. Not disconnecting and experiencing ourselves as separate, but syncing into the great flowing body of existence. Our whole body - and certainly it seems our hearts and brains - are capable of syncing and communicating, and the researchers at HeartMath believe that there are certain frequencies that our hearts align with that promote better health, increased gratitude, and less reactive, more compassionate communication. And as I read this information to share it with you, I kept thinking about the shining golden key and seeing my heart turning into a golden sinkhole, and I kept thinking about all that had happened that led me here and all thatās happened since. The second key. I kept thinking about the second key. ā In the early morning of May 11th - the morning of the Taurus new moon - I was lying on an air mattress on the floor in our new apartment when I suddenly felt the presence of someone standing next to me. My immediate reaction was to want that presence to go away, to be left alone so I could keep sleeping, but then, something shifted. I started to feel safe with that presence there. I decided to get curious about it instead of resisting it, and so it was that I was there - lying in our makeshift bed, eyes closed - when I saw - in my mindās eye - the image of a young girl in drab clothing. Her appearance made me think of the early 1900s, and then, I heard the words: Santa MarĆa Rosefina Abuela. And I thought of Spain, and then I sensed that something terrible had happened to her body. It felt almost like a cave had collapsed on her or something. Then - still in my mindās eye - she handed me a key. A silver key - not shining but aged - and there was a loop at the top of the key with some slight ornamentation that I could sense but couldnāt see. Then, she told me that it wasnāt time to use it, but when the time was right, I would know how to use it and that I should keep it safe, so in my mindās eye, I placed the key safely in a small, rectangular, wooden box. Then, I felt the sensation of a kiss upon my forehead before I felt the presence disappear completely. It was still early. I wanted to fall back asleep, but I couldnāt get the words out of my head, I couldnāt quiet the curiosity to pull out my phone and google them. And so, I googled, āSanta Maria Rosefina Abuela,ā and when I did, every single result replaced the R with a J, pulling search results for Santa MarĆa Josefina, and I thought maybe I misheard that letter - as often happens. Iāll get the name very close but maybe itās a little blurred, a little off. And so, there I was at five in the morning, looking down at these search results - at the name now clearly spelled with a J - and my eyes kept landing on the top result on the page, but I swear, I didnāt click on it. I donāt remember clicking on it, but it opened. And the page - written in Spanish - told the story of MarĆa Josefina of the Carmelo de Santa MarĆa. MarĆa Josefina was born in 1894 and was a young girl in the early 1900s. Her grandmother played a pivotal role in her spirituality, and when she was young, she got this severe form of tuberculosis in her spine that left her completely paralyzed. Then, on June 26, 1922, it is said that she was miraculously cured - all of her pain disappearing instantaneously upon touching the arm of a saint. She then dedicated her life to accepting Godās will - even when she became sick again later in life and confined to a wheelchair. There was more to her story, but not much, and I couldnāt find much more about her anywhere else online, but there was this one page, that seemed to open on its own, and as I read the story, I couldnāt help but see the overlaps in what I sensed from this presence and what I was reading now, and then I saw, in the upper lefthand corner of the page, the image of two keys, each with a loop at the top, just like the one she had handed me. I clicked on the image and realized that this page detailing her life was within the Vatican website and that these were the papal keys. Apparently, since the fourteenth century, the official symbol of the pope and papal authority has been this image of two keys crossing each other - one silver and one gold. And suddenly I realized the date - May 11th - and I thought, wait, wasnāt I guided to these keys at this exact same time last year? I dug through my notes until I found pictures of the papal keys that I had saved on May 20, 2020. I had stumbled upon the keys after researching the pope following a dream I had had the night before. In the dream, I was struggling to balance my dual responsibilities as both just a girl and also, the first female pope. Of course, there has never actually been one of those. As discussed in March, women are not allowed to be pope, and in general, their spiritual authority has been fervently suppressed within Christianity. But I had this dream in May of last year that that wasnāt the case anymore. And then on May 11th of this year - just last month - I experienced this presence who seems to maybe have been this woman - MarĆa Josefina -who seems to have held some semblance of spiritual authority in the church, and she gave me a key. This silver key, and afterwards - after finding her bio on the Vatican page - I researched the keys and learned that at least within the narrative of the papal insignia, the silver key is said to be the key that represents the popeās spiritual authority on Earth. And I thought it was strange that these keys were coming up at almost the exact same time one year apart, and I wondered what it meant. I wondered what I was supposed to learn about these keys, but at the same time, I trusted the message. That I didnāt need to fully understand yet because I would know how to use the key when the time was right. Just as I had known how to use the gold key one week earlier. I just knew to turn it towards my heart, to open it up. ā Two nights before I felt the presence and was handed the silver key, I felt intense heart pangs. This had been happening off and on throughout the first week in our new home, which also happened to be the week after I saw the golden key, turned it towards my chest, and unlocked some secret door. That whole week, I just kept feeling these intense heart pangs. Theyād happen suddenly, make me reach for my chest. And on May 9th, as I was feeling my throbbing heart, I then also saw it. I saw it in my mind. I saw my heart as JUST FIRE, ALL FIRE. And then, I saw the flames open up, and my heart became a portal to a field of wildflowers - a garden - and beyond that field, I saw all the stars and space and the whole universe. It was like my entire heart space was this huge tunnel that expanded out the backside of my body and just kept going and going into all of eternity. And I heard, ITāS COMING IN JUNE. WE ARE FORTIFYING YOUR HEART. And I thought of all of the messages Iād been getting about my heart since December of 2020. ā Iāve been seeing this evolving, growing vision week after week, month after month. Itās a huge story, a big story, too long to detail in full here, but this is the gist: In December, with the Cancer full moon that ushered us into this new year - 2021 - I saw the clear image of a hexagram - a six pointed star - at the center of my chest, and the star had a ring around it, and the ring was made of fire. Then, in January, at the same place on my chest, I saw a massive golden vortex spinning out in front of me, and later in the month, I saw the hexagram again, and I saw the fire - except this time, the fire was fully encircling me. I had a ring of fire around my body, and in my mindās eye, I was just sitting in this meditative seat in a ring of fire, and what happened next - Before I share this, I just want to say, especially for those of you who may be new, that I do not personally ascribe to any organized religion, and I was not raised religious in any way. I truly am just a woman having an experience, and while the messages this month connect with Christian ideas and imagery, these messages are not just for Christians, and this is not just about Christianity. These messages are about a huge energetic opening happening right now on Earth, and as this has been happening, I have been getting a lot of messages about how every spiritual tradition is connected - Christianity included - and how we can all come together - through unification, compassion, and acceptance - to honor the heart of the teachings that connect the seemingly separate traditions. So, with all that saidā¦ In January, I saw myself in my mindās eye, sitting in a meditative seat, within a ring of fire. And then - still in my mindās eye - I saw Jesus standing next to me, just outside the ring of fire, and he placed his hand on my right shoulder, and he showed me how the fire didnāt hurt him at all, how the fire will only burn you if you are clinging to one illusion or another or many. In other words, this fire I keep seeing is the fire of truth. Then, in February, I had another vision of Jesus. This time, I saw him floating in a standing position with his eyes closed, and there was a rose in full bloom at the center of his chest. Then, it was like the vision went inside of me. I was lying in bed, and I no longer saw him floating outside of me somewhere, but instead, the image of his body became superimposed on my body so that I could see that the rose in him was also in me. The fiery hexagram became a rose, and the next morning, I saw that the rose itself was on fire inside me, except the flame didnāt burn the rose. The rose was perfectly intact, whole, unharmed. And it was only after this, that I started really wondering what the heck was going on with these images and visions of my heart and fire and Jesus, and I started researching. I googled āburning heart imageryā and right away, what came up was the sacred heart, which is the Christian image of a burning heart that is often seen as being inside Jesus and is associated with Godās unconditional love for humanity. Now, if you were raised amongst these ideas and this imagery, it may seem strange to learn that I wasnāt familiar with them at all, but truly, I wasnāt. I wasnāt raised Christian and certainly not Catholic, so Iām not familiar with most of the iconography or any of the special holidays and feasts. I truly have only ever first learned about these things - the papal keys, the sacred heart, etc. - because of direct messages in my mindās eye both when sleeping and awake. And in February - when I first started doing this research - this was the first time I was learning (at least in this lifetime) about the sacred heart. And during my research, I learned that there is something called the Feast of the Sacred Heart and that this year it is happening on June 11th...Itās coming in June. Iāve known this since February, that this great heart opening was coming for us this month. With the eclipse on June 10th, the day before the Feast of the Sacred Heart. Weāve been building to this. Something BIG. A gift. A blessing. An opening. In February, I made a note to remember that this eclipse aligned with the Feast of the Sacred Heart, to remember to share all of this with you in this issue, my 33rd, which just happens to be a number associated with Jesus because it is thought that this is how old he was when he died. So in February, I was introduced to the idea of the sacred heart, and ever since, I have been seeing the sacred heart imagery everywhere. In random HGTV episodes, in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, in that Netflix show Firefly Lane. It was like whatever I happened to choose to watch or read - however disparate and random - it was all connected by this image of a burning heart. And then came the keys. First, the golden one with the burning heart at its bow, letting me know that it was for my heart, for unlocking a portal inside my heart. A portal to a garden, to the cosmos. And then, there was the second key: the silver one, to be used for some not yet known thing. ā MarĆa Josefina handed me the silver key in the very early morning on May 11th. A few hours later, the movers finally arrived with all of our furniture and boxes from New York City, and as I write this, Iām just now realizing that I received the first key right before the movers came to take the boxes, and then I received the second key right before they arrived to deliver them. *the binding and loosing between heaven and Earth.* After the movers finished delivering everything, my husband and I decided to go to our favorite sub shop to get some sandwiches for lunch. When we pulled up to the shop, I saw the hardware store across the street and remembered that we had only been given one mail key when we moved in, and we needed to make a copy so that weād each have one. We decided to go ahead and take care of this. We walked inside the hardware store, and my husband handed the man at the counter the gold mail key off his keychain. A few moments later, the man handed an envelope back to us. I opened it up and poured the keys into my left hand - planning to give one back to my husband and place the other on my keychain - and as I held the two keys in the palm of my left hand, my eyes opened wide because I saw that one was silver and one was gold, and the gold one was his, and now, the silver was for me. We had had no intention of running this errand that day. Honestly, in the midst of all the moving to-dos, I hadnāt even remembered that it needed to be run, and I didnāt recall that the hardware store was by the sub shop, but somehow, things just came together in such a way that that morning, I was handed a silver key in the ether, and then, a few hours later, I was handed one here on Earth. ā In the hours that followed, I encountered more signs, more synchronicities, that reminded me of my vision that morning. I was unwrapping plastic bubbles from around my nightstand lamp, and as I did, I was taken aback to see certain details that Iād never really noticed before, details that quite clearly resemble two keys: one dark and one gold. And then, there was this sticker on the chair that had belonged to my great-great grandmother Cora. The movers had labeled everything - every single piece of furniture and every box - with these yellow stickers, each with its own unique number. And with this particular sticker - and only this sticker - I heard the clear message to look up the asteroid associated with the stickerās number: number 256. And when I did, my jaw dropped because asteroid 256 was named after a female saint. And of the hundreds of asteroids Iāve researched - asteroids named after gods and goddesses and cities and scientists and philosophers and writers - this was the first asteroid I had ever seen that was named after a saint, and I thought of Santa MarĆa. And then I looked up this particular saint - the one associated with the asteroid - and it turns out, she is best known for a miracle that happened on a ship. And I laughed because there were ship messages throughout the May Magic Guide. I even had channeled this line for the month of May to keep your eyes peeled for something happening with a ship, and here was a ship. And that was all just in day one of receiving the message and being handed the silver key. In the days that followed, even more happened. I found another silver key! Two days later. And then - out of nowhere, on the very day of the Sagittarius full moon eclipse (May 26th) - my husband suggested we watch Angels & Demons, which - turns out - is all about the Vatican, and the keys were everywhere, and he had no idea when he suggested this that I had been writing this story, literally called The Two Keys. He didnāt know that Iād been researching the papal keys at all, and then, also with the eclipse, I suddenly felt the intense urge to watch this Netflix show that I had tried to watch in April but just couldnāt get into then, and turns out - thereās this whole scene with a female saint performing a miracle on a ship. All of this just felt like sign after sign - confirmation - telling me that something was happening. Something is happening. These two keys are important, and even if I donāt totally understand them, I trust the message I received the morning of the Taurus new moon. The message from the girl with the silver key. You will know how to use it when the time is right. ā Part II: The Sacred Heart The two keys in the papal insignia are often simply called the keys of the kingdom of Heaven, and they are taken from a story in The Bible. In the story, Jesus gives Peter two keys and says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:13) While I donāt personally consider The Bible to be much of anything other than a book written by human men, I have also had many visions and personal experiences that - to my great surprise - have directly echoed certain passages and images within The Bible, and all of this leads me to think that maybe - between all of the words that are just manās words - some of Godās words got in there too. And when I read the verse about the keys, I wondered: What does that mean? Loosing and binding? What does the silver key do? ā Two days after I was handed the silver key, and I placed it in a box in the ether, I was unpacking a cardboard box delivered by the movers, and inside that box, I found another box. A small, glass box that Iād packed with tiny crystals and other fragile objects. When I opened the box, I was surprised to find a silver key with a loop at the top. It was at the end of a necklace, and Iād completely forgotten about it. Forgotten about its existence. Forgotten that Iād packed it in this box. I bought the key in January of 2020 - on the Aquarius new moon. That night, I had gone to an open mic event and read the introduction of my book to strangers for the first time. The event was held at a store that sold various items, and when I saw the key, I felt drawn to buy it. I wore it around my neck as I read from the book, but once I got home, I basically never wore it again. I hung it on a thumbtack that I pressed into the cork board above my desk, and it stayed there - until now - mostly forgotten. But on May 13th, when I opened the small, glass box and removed the necklace and held it in my hand, the key felt like it was sinking into my palm. I couldnāt put it down. It was like it was embedding itself into my hand, and I had to just keep holding it there, in my left hand, until the intensity passed. Since then, at very specific moments, including now, I have chosen to wear the key around my neck, but mostly, I just leave it in a gold bowl on my nightstand, which is where it seems to mainly want to be. What does the key do? I still donāt really know, but if you made me answer - if you made me say the first thing that came to my mind - Iād say: It opens a door. It opens a door in heaven that leads to Earth. It bridges the two. It helps bring heaven down to Earth. And if you asked me about the gold key - if you made me tell you what it does - Iād tell you: It opens a door. It opens a door to heaven on Earth. A door that lives inside each and every one of us. A door inside our hearts. There, weāll find a bridge between us here on Earth and everything in heaven. ā The bridge opens inside. Whenever you are ready to unlock the door. The door to the sacred heart. Not Jesusā sacred heart or Maryās sacred heart, for theirs are just examples. This is about your sacred heart. ā On June 2nd, the day after the sun conjuncts the north node and we are aligned with our destiny - together - Venus enters the sign of Cancer. Cancer, the sign of the mother, the creative force, the nurturing womb. Venus in Cancer is here to create. Not through fiery passion like Aries or through curious conversation like Gemini, but through deeply rooted, fluid, unconditionally loving LOVE. Cancer - as a sign - can be snappy, unintentionally selfish, and fearful. Mainly because it is working to create so much that its own power has a tendency to scare it, and until itās ready, it often just needs to snap those claws and slam that shell shut to cope with the intensity of it all - the constant, shifting creation. THE ENTIRE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE. Cancer is about beginnings. The start of things. The constant fresh start of creation that is always happening and that the mother, the goddess is known for. But with this Venus in Cancer cycle, it feels like the shell - the fear - is cracked wide open. That THE TIME IS NOW AND WE ARE READY. Ready to create what we need to create. To give to the world what we need to give, and to receive from the world what we need to receive. Imagine this: In every moment, you are mothering yourself, taking care of yourself from a place of unconditional love and the desire to nourish yourself and grow. AND simultaneously, in every moment, the whole entire world is doing the exact same thing. Itās doing this for you, and itās doing this for itself. All the world is constantly giving and receiving everyone and everything what it needs. THIS IS THE GREAT MOTHER. In every moment, remind yourself: I am blessing them, and they are blessing me. This is what is happening. Ad infinitum. Even when it doesnāt feel good, this is what is happening. THIS IS THE GREAT SURRENDER TO THE WILL OF GOD. The deep unconditional love for all of creation that lives inside you that is opening now. Now, in the energy of the Sagittarius full moon eclipse. The full FIRE moon. The moon that had me seeing not just my heart on fire but my entire being - all of me - just fire, ablaze. Because this is not about me. I am not just me. I am divine - one with God, the great fire of God - and so are you and so is everything. The whole world - this swirling, fiery ball of love and truth and devotion. ā All of this leads us to the Gemini new moon solar eclipse at approximately 20 degrees Gemini on June 10th. haha - okay - so right away, Iām hearing the song Total Eclipse of the Heart, which simply reminds me that this is not a total eclipse. This is an annular eclipse, and in an annual eclipse, the moonās shadow doesnāt completely cover the sun. Instead, the sun remains visible as a ring around the moon. A ring of fire. In astrology, the moon represents your emotional body. It is YOUR HEART. And here, on this new moon eclipse, the moon is encircled in a fiery ring. The moon is on fire. Burning. Like the sacred heart. ā On this new moon, the sun, moon, and the asteroid Bennu are all at the EXACT same place - 20 degrees - in Gemini, and Mercury and the asteroid Fortuna are also incredibly close by - just one degree over. In other words, this moon is blending the energy of these five planetary bodies: the moon, the sun, Mercury, Bennu, and Fortuna. THIS IS A REBIRTH OF YOUR SELF, YOUR HEART, YOUR MIND, AND YOUR FORTUNE. This moon is a miracle maker. A MASSIVE INTERNAL MIRACLE UNFOLDING EXTERNALLY, and I just keep hearing: a fiery inferno. Which seems a bit redundant, but it is what it is. It is what I hear: a fiery inferno. This fire is DIVINE FIRE, TRUTH. The asteroid Truth is conjunct the planet Venus in Cancer. And I see now that this is why I was guided to share the image of me - totally ablaze - when discussing Venus in Cancer just a moment ago. Because THIS IS THE GREAT SURRENDER TO THE WILL OF GOD. The release. The relinquish. I see you letting go of the reins. Just the image of reins being released, flying out from hands and falling into a great unknown. So that all thatās left is you. You and your power. You and your connection. You and your big, big heart. The heart that connects you to All That Is. Bennu - for those of you who are new - is an asteroid thatās very close to the earth. It was named after the Egyptian bird god Bennu, the god who inspired the Greek myth of the phoenix. Bennu - as an asteroid - embodies rebirth. A fiery rebirth into a new golden age. THE END OF DUALITY. Gemini is about two halves, the twins, division in the mind. Gemini is THINKING, air. Itās all mental - this energy. Itās the stories we tell ourselves. Itās our perception of the world as seen through the mind. Itās split in two. The ability to even see ourselves as separate, as having a mind, as me being me and you being you. Gemini offers us THIS GIFT OF AWARENESS. To be aware of our SELVES so that we can then be aware of GOD in a whole new way. You can be completely unified, one with God, one with the uncontrollable fire - for thatās what an inferno is, out of control, not in your control - and still YOU. You try to control it. You try to steer it. You try to direct your life to accomplish all of your goals and achieve your desires, but all thatās ever wanted of you is to simply be. To be here and FEEL HERE and ENJOY. Stop with the rest. THE REST happens as a consequence - an unfurling - of your joy. All the relationships, the so-called successes, etc., that you desire? Itās all just an echo. An echo of your internal condition. An echo of the flame. The flame is the fire, the fuel. If you are trying to control all of the time, you dampen it. You actually stifle the fire, the ability to create, the very fuel that moves through you and sets you on fire and encourages you to BREATHE AND BE. This fire is love. Give yourself to it, realize that you are always with it even if you build the walls in your mind to block yourself from seeing this, even if you are scared to look: this is where you are. On this new moon, YOU SEE THE TRUTH. You arrive at unification in a whole new way. You remember. This new moon opposes the asteroid Juno in Sagittarius. Juno, the asteroid that rules unification and marriage. That brings us literal, physical partnerships in our lives, but also that represents the greatest partnership of all. Our partnership with the great divine eternal existence of which we are a part. This new moon is one big paradox. Itās about the breakdown of duality, the burning away of separateness, and itās also about THE GREAT EMBRACE OF WHO YOU ARE AS AN INDIVIDUAL. Because this is what happens: when you realize how connected you are with everything, when you perceive and feel the great oneness with every breath, when you see all the love in the world, the love moving through you, it becomes incredibly hard to hate on yourself. Because how can you hate yourself? How can you deny yourself? How can you make yourself small by trying to adjust and fix all of the problems you perceive that live inside you when you realize that YOU ARE GOD. You are one with God. There is no division. You are CONTRIBUTING as only you can. On this new moon, Uranus - the planet thatās all about embracing yourself and feeling free to be exactly who you are - is conjunct the asteroids Ceres, Isis, and Iris. You - as an individual - are being nurtured, held, filled with magic. All of this time youāve been waiting for a message to come your way - and it is highly likely that a big message does come your way during this new moon (thanks to Mercury, Fortuna, Iris, and Gemini) - but all of this time, youāve been waiting for the message to come from OUTSIDE OF YOU. Youāve been waiting for the right person or people to arrive to deliver what you have been waiting for, but donāt you see? The message comes from INSIDE YOU because YOU ARE NOT SEPARATE. The message starts inside and then you see it āoutsideā except when you see it outside yourself, youāre not really looking out. Youāre never looking out. There is no outside. Youāre only ever seeing a part of yourself. Parts of yourself. Parts of God, parts of the whole damn thing, again and again and again. You come to love yourself so much because you love God so much that thereās nothing left but love. On this new moon, the asteroid Erato perfectly conjuncts the destiny point. Erato is named after the muse of LOVE, of LOVE AND DESIRE. She was often seen working with Eros - a.k.a. Cupid. There is an arrow that cuts straight through your heart to its deepest well and opens you to yourself, opens you to the world, and on this new moon, THERE IS SO MUCH LOVE. A love that starts inside and ripples out through NEW PARTNERSHIPS, through THE EARTH, through the whole world. Perhaps through the energy radiating from your heart, that electromagnetic field that starts with you and reaches out to the rest of the world. Except, letās be clear: nothing ever wholly starts with you. There is no clear start. There is love. There is love. There is love Who could ever tell you where love starts and stops? I couldnāt. Iāve never felt it. Iāve fallen in love. Iāve felt that rush of remembering and ADORING another being. But itās never new. And Iāve never felt it end. Iāve only ever fallen out of like with someone. Iāve never, ever fallen out of love. You cannot fall out of love because you are love. You can only ever forget. But this June, this month, our bodies remember. THE EARTH IS REMEMBERING. Remembering oneness, remembering connectivity, remembering just how whole and beautiful and eternal it all is. There are so many markers in the astrology about this. From Midas and Pele crossing through The Golden Gate, shifting the earth on which we stand. From Neptune, Jubilatrix, and Pallas Athena conjuncting in Pisces, reminding us of the JOY we feel when we KNOW our oneness. From DNA and Jupiter...about to conjunct in Pisces. Pisces, the sign of interconnection. This understanding, this knowing, this love, itās making its way into our bodies, shifting our environment and our literal, physical bodies over the course of the month. This great love that you will FEEL on the eclipse - feel maybe with such intensity that you can barely stand it - itāll crack you open. Through that opening, something new enters. New to your memory now but very, very old. It permeates the land. This knowing. And as it does, you come to know. You come to accept. You come to trust WHO YOU ARE. You are ready. To just be. To be yourself. To be trusted - not just by others but first and always first, by yourself. Deep trust is restored on this new moon. Watch it happen. Watch it unfold. Watch it dig up the mutated seeds of distrust and separation that you have accidentally at times been watering except it was no accident. You needed this. You needed this forgetting as much as you need the remembering. This too - as in all things - is part of the oneness. Is part of God. And now that weāve gone through all of this, we lead. You lead. Funny, isnāt it? How in letting go, releasing the reins, you actually become the leader. ā The day after the new moon - on June 11th, the day of the Feast of the Sacred Heart - Mars enters Leo. Leo, the sign of YOU BEING THE LEADER. Which you always were and always have been because again, itās all you. You are everything. Everything is inside and outside, and there are no lines, and when you surrender to WHO YOU ARE and STAND TALL and TAKE THE STAGE in your own life and IN THE WORLD, you will be guided. With each and every step, you will be guided. It wonāt just be you stepping. It will be God, stepping through you. But this only happens when you LET GO. When you commit to serving the whole. When you stop trying to control everything in order to make it great for you and realize that in just surrendering and fully being, greatness simply is. Greatness is your natural state. Mars rules action, and after this moon, you are being aligned with acting FROM YOUR HEART. By letting your heart itself act. *seeing again the radiating heart, the field lines wrapping around your body from your heart, reaching out into the world* The heart communicates more with the brain than the brain communicates with the heart. Your heart is a great actor. Not in the Shakespearean sense, but also, maybe a little bit: all the worldās a stage and all. From the earliest age, I looked around the world, and it was always just so clear to me: everyoneās just making everything up. But how often do we forget? Do we bow to one rule or expectation simply because the majority of people around us have decided to bow to that rule? What are you bowing to? What are you creating with each bow you take? Seriously. Ask yourself. Maybe each morning when you wake up, decide what youāre bowing to. Notice. For me, I bow to my heart. I bow to my existence and my experience, and I simply let it be, and that will always be enough. No fame, no money, nothing is as glorious as the glory of simply being and loving. And to be clear, I donāt even bow to God, and I donāt bow to any of the gods and goddesses Iāve seen in my mind - the fairies or Isis or Jesus. I actually tried once. I tried bowing out of sheer curiosity after one of my best friends had this prayer rug seemingly magically sent to her in the mail, and the rug encouraged bowing while you pray, and it made me wonder what that was like, so I tried it. I was bowing for not even a minute when I heard the loudest voice be like: WHAT ARE YOU BOWING TO? And I was guided to sit upright and place my hand on my heart and be with myself. The door to heaven on earth is INSIDE YOU. Itās not outside. What are you bowing to? ā June 20th brings THE LIGHT - the most sunlight we get all year. This day marks the summer solstice. The longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, and Iām hearing: A DAY FOR CELEBRATION! Hearing: Celebrate Good Times Come On! The solstice always feels magical and celebratory to me. Itās the day I met my husband. Itās the day of so many wonderful things, and there are all sorts of ways to celebrate the solstice. For me, the solstice is about just basking in the lightness of being, so if you can, just let yourself be and enjoy and have fun! Always, but especially today. On the same day as the solstice, the sun enters Cancer and Jupiter goes retrograde in Pisces, beginning its slow retreat back into Aquarius for the rest of the year. ā When Jupiter entered Pisces last month, it gave us the big boost to our HEARTS that we needed to support the boost to our minds that weāre going to be getting for the rest of the year. The heart communicates with the brain, with the mind. Jupiter first entered Pisces on May 13th. Reflect on all thatās happened since then. Everything youāve learned and all that youāve gained. This retrograde isnāt about rewinding that expansion and losing those gains. Itās about TAKING IT WITH YOU. Imagine that all of the signs of the zodiac are their own rooms in a house. Earlier this year, itās like we were all hanging out in the Aquarius room, having an Aquarian style party, which looked like a rave where some people were painting murals and others were spinning records and some were just sitting in the corner discussing the modern implications for Heideggerās Being and Time and then some people decided to start playing with the big particle collider in the center of the room because it was there, and thatās what Aquarius does: it brings a huge expansion to our IDEAS AND INNOVATION. And then, on May 13th, Jupiter went into Pisces, and itās like we all moved the party to the Pisces room, and that party is very different. Here, everyone is basically just floating in space except we canāt totally tell where one of us ends and the other begins, and weāre all just like woah and filled with love and feeling our hearts expand, and weāre still in that room! Through the end of July, thatās where we are, but we are also aware that weāre going to go back to the Aquarius party room soon. So weāre starting to think about the implications for this BIG LOVE experience and how it will shape what we do when we go back to the IDEAS AND CREATIVITY. So, yeah, thatās what this Jupiter retrograde is like. Itās like youāre packing up the big love from the Pisces room so you can take it with you when you return to the Aquarius room. From now through July, youāre really going to be integrating and reflecting on the experience of Big Love that the last month has given you. ā And at the very end of the day on the 20th, as we say goodbye to the solstice, the sun enters Cancer. Cancer - as described earlier - is THE MOTHER. It is nurturing, creative energy that arrives to BIRTH NEW THINGS. Cancer Season always spurs some new origin point. Reflect back to last summer - June 21st through July 22nd. What ORIGINATED for you then? Get ready for the slate to clear in some way to bring forth something new now, something connected to you integrating all of the BIG LOVE that Jupiter in Pisces has given you. ā On June 22nd, Mercury goes direct in Gemini. Itās been retrograde all month, and it was retrograde when the new moon conjuncted it on the 10th, but now that itās direct, youāre ready to FULLY INTEGRATE the NEW MOON HEART OPENING. Youāre willing to accept it - not just physically and energetically but in your mind, in the way you think about things and in how you see yourself. If you remember from May, this retrograde cycle has been all about saying YES to life. We are sailing together on this ship full of love and devotion, and once you accept that, youāll just start saying yes to each moment as it comes. You stop resisting life, and you start accepting it. And instead of saying more, I just encourage you to go back and read last monthās surprise reading because I just re-read it myself, and Iād forgotten about all of its magical messages, and I think reading it now will give you all sorts of perspective on the last month of your life. ā On June 24th, we welcome the Capricorn full moon. This is the bridge weāve been crossing since January 13th. The bridge between heaven and earth. Weāve been walking it, bringing down the light from heaven and manifesting it here on Earth. And now, WE HAVE CROSSED THE BRIDGE. This full moon is the culmination of this crossing. I see it clearly now: The Gemini new moon eclipse initiated the start of our crossing a new bridge - the bridge between earth and heaven, linking what we experience here and delivering it, delivering us to heaven. This is the gold key. But the Capricorn full moon? This is the evolution from the Capricorn new moon on January 13th that came after the great rebirthing from the Cancer full moon at the end of December. That full moon delivered us to Earth, from heaven, where we were crowned. When we walked through the gate in January - the gate between heaven and earth - we appeared on Earth completely normal, just like regular, non-regal people - but the crown was still inside us, a part of us. Itās been integrating, getting ready to be SEEN on EARTH. If you want to better understand this imagery about the gate and the crown, I recommend returning to the December and January Guides, but you also donāt have to. You can just let the words spark whatever they spark now - let that be enough - and keep going. ā THE BRIDGE GOES BOTH WAYS: Involution, the great interaction of spirit on Earth, spirit shaping matter. This is the silver key, and this is what we have been working with since January. The golden key - the one that started with the Gemini new moon - is about EVOLUTION. Itās about the shift in matter that then shapes spirt. The bridge between earth and heaven - It goes both ways. It goes both ways. To better understand this, look at the illustrations in this monthās issue. But for now, for this full moon, know that: WE HAVE ARRIVED. YOU HAVE ARRIVED. And you are not alone. We are in this together - all of the people who have been waking to their own divinity, to their connection with All That Is. The people who - whether they know it or not - are working in harmony, working in unison, to uplift truth and spread peace. To be one of these people is not to be evangelical. You donāt ever have to speak of God. You donāt have to even necessarily believe in God. You just have to BE. Be so true to who you are that you are one with your DIVINE essence. That you are manifesting that essence on Earth. Thatās whatās happening with this moon. Everything that happened in May - the anchoring of the light on Earth, the crowning of the Earth - it was creating the SPACE HERE for YOU TO BE SEEN, for YOU TO SHINE. And now, on this Capricorn full moon, the earth is ready. The earth is ready to SEE the light spreading across it, to receive it. And you are ready to receive the earth. You are ready to BE HERE. You are HERE. Fully embodied. DNA conjuncts Jupiter in Pisces. This is the change that has been happening to our bodies, the great integration of your divine essence into your physical being, your energy, your magnetism, your brain, your heart. THE TRANSFIGURATION OF LIGHT. This full moon falls exactly where the Capricorn new moon eclipse fell on December 26, 2019. REFLECT BACK. You received clues then about what is going to happen now. On that eclipse in 2019, the sun and moon were in the same place as Jupiter and Fortuna and the asteroid Gold was conjunct the destiny point. That eclipse laid the foundation for a huge cycle designed to expand FORTUNE AND HARMONY ON EARTH. That eclipse also started the big energy that led to the coronavirus pandemic. It can be hard to talk about this because there was so much pain from the pandemic. SO MUCH PAIN. So many people are still struggling - financially, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Millions of people died. There is no ignoring or dismissing this pain. There is only feeling it. Feeling it. Grieving it. Accepting it, and if your heart and mind are ready to hear, there is this truth: the pandemic helped pave the path toward greater fortune and harmony on Earth. It helped illuminate. It helped illuminate truth and pain and suffering, and it helped ILLUMINATE the minds and hearts of so many people. It created the space for a mass spiritual awakening that was already happening and was always going to happen but that needed something this big to fully break free. Itās free now. The energy, the light - whatever you want to call it - it was freed during the time between December 2019 and now. The stars tell the story. The energy that was laid at the end of December 2019 was about EXPANDING OUR FORTUNE ON EARTH. It was about a VICTORY ON EARTH, literally the asteroids Victoria and Gaea (which represent victory and the earth) were in the same place. And Pele and Mars were conjunct as well, which indicates that there was going to be a huge upheaval in our actions in order to align them with sacred changes happening to the earth. Change is change. Itās often painful. Weāve been enduring mass growing pains. The full moon now - on June 24th - connects to that new moon then, and it also connects to the new moon on January 13th of this year. The energy that was laid then - at the start of this year - was about HEALING OUR FORTUNE. Chiron was conjunct Fortuna. And on this full moon, the sun conjuncts Fortuna, and Midas conjuncts the destiny point. Almost every single new and full moon since at least April has seen these same asteroids playing a big role: Midas, the golden touch, and Fortuna, our luck and fortune. On this full moon, all of that golden light that has been culminating in the ether - a.k.a. the invisible layers of reality that are everywhere - is ready to be SEEN. This is our destiny. Everything you touch now can turn to gold, and yes, that can translate into financial rewards, but thatās never what this is about. This GOLD isnāt the gold of material wealth, itās the gold of GODāS LOVE. On this full moon - from June 24th - July 7th - we see - in the visible reality on Earth - the gold of Godās love. We seeā¦heaven. ā The day after the full moon, Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces. Because Neptune is so far from Earth and goes retrograde for a big chunk of time every year, we donāt typically feel this so intensely on a personal level. Imagine you are in an ocean, in an inner tube, riding gentle waves. The waves have been leading you in one direction through the ocean, but then, thereās a change in the current. The waves simply start carrying you back over the same water you already traversed. But itās beautiful here, on this stretch of the ocean. Thereās no harm in seeing it again. Youāre in no rush to get anywhere. This isnāt impeding your progress. So you just enjoy it. Float and enjoy. This retrograde is experienced predominantly internally, spiritually, but it can show up on Earth and look like confusion and forgetfulness. People forgetting the big love that connects us all and falling into various states of illusion. If youāre ever afraid that youāre falling into this yourself, just imagine the fire. Let yourself see it. Let yourself feel it - in your mind. If it hurts, adjust whatever you need to adjust - release whatever ideas you need to release - until it stops hurting. Then you can just go back to enjoying your ocean voyage. Neptune goes direct on December 1st, so weāll be riding this for a while. Again - nothing at all to stress about. Only to enjoy. ā Here we are, approaching the end of June, and I donāt know about you, but I am tired! This month feels SO HUGE. So much happens. So much changes. So much manifests - physically and spiritually. I almost canāt even fathom that there are any more transits worth mentioning this month, but of course, we arenāt quite done yet...there is one more. On June 27th, Venus joins Mars in Leo. With this, everyone is bowing to themselves - to the God within. I just see people who are so grounded in themselves and full of love and respect that interpersonal dynamics become less reactive, less about projecting your ideas and emotional struggles onto those around you and more about feeling the pure love that flows between everything so that you feel so strong in yourself that you never fail to take responsibility and you never fail to overcome that which wants to keep you small. You never fail to listen. You never fail to hear. This brings a huge confidence boost. One that starts in your heart, that grows from your experience in your heart. It emboldens you and strengthens you so that you can stand strong in what I like to call the Rumi space, the space described in these words of his: āOut beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. Iāll meet you there.ā And this is what we do. We arrive. ā ā ā It was dark. Dark and late on May 3rd as my husband and I finally approached the border of our new home state. Weād been driving all day, driving through the rainy mountains between where we had been in New York City and where we were going in Ohio. We were exhausted. So tired that over the last few hours of the drive, I hadnāt even been noticing much in terms of signs or synchronicities or anything. I was just beat and eager to arrive when I looked up and saw the sign welcoming us to Ohio. I smiled when I looked at it and noticed the picture of the state, the shape of its borders: It kind of looks like a heart. Yeah, my husband said, Thatās what itās called: The heart of it all. And I thought of the gold key that Iād seen the night before. I thought of my heart opening up like a big golden sinkhole, and we drove. We drove into the heart of it all, towards whatever comes next. ā To be continued...
